Mission: Shore Leave on Klavor

Lieutenant JG Dunjen had returned from Klavor after helping the Commodore with her quest to find out the truth concerning the allegations set forth by Usher.

Now there was another person that she must meet with to be cleared for duty aboard the Amandora....the Counselor. Tapping her Comm "Lieutenant T'Mia Rahl this Lieutenant JG Nix Dunjen...I'd like to meet with you at your convenience to be cleared for duty" she requested.

T’Mia tapped her comm badge. “By all means Lieutenant, I’m free now if you’d like to drop by the Counseling offices?”

"On my way" came the reply....Nix made her way to the Counselor's Office. When she arrived the door was open so she knocked and waited to be recognized.

Hearing the knock T’Mia smiled warmly as she greeted Nix. “You must be Lieutenant Dunjen, please come on in and make yourself at home.”

The Lieutenant JG entered the Office and stood across from the Counselor "Thank you seeing me on such short notice" she replied with a smile "I'm the new Infiltration Specialist recently assign to the Amandora."

“In that case Welcome aboard” T’Mia smiled. “You’re Lucky you caught me actually, I was only popping in to grab some padds not that seeing you during Shoreleave is a problem. I don’t tend to do a lot anyway.”

Nix thought for a moment "Thank you.....Counselor....my apologies....I didn't mean to intrude on your personal time....I guess I'm in work mode since helping the Commodore on Klavor. It's just in case we should get orders that requires my special talents...I wanted to be cleared for duty" she explained feeling a little embarrassed at the moment.

“Please don’t feel uncomfortable, it’s fine” T’Mia smiled warmly. “In-fact this is the best time for your evaluation, at least this way you’ll be able to get straight to your duties.” She motioned to the seats. “Please make yourself at home.”

Nix smiled and sat in the offered seat "I'm not sure if you received my file or not yet so I'll fill you in on some details" she commented having been through this before "I'm from Trill as you can see by markings and was joined with Dunjen some time ago."

T’Mia nodded. “If you don’t mind me asking how many hosts has Dunjen had previously? Have you had any problems since being joined?”

"No I don't mind at all....Dunjen has had five hosts before myself" she replied then thought for a moment before answering "After we were joined we remained on Trill for almost a year getting accustomed to one another. We did have our ups and downs but that went away and we've been fine since.The Symbiosis Commission made sure that we were compatible and in harmony before allowing me to return to Star Fleet. While we're on the subject...if I were to die my body needs to go into Stasis and shipped back to Trill as soon as possible."

T’Mia nodded. “I’ll make a note of your wishes on your file. Though hopefully they’ll never have to be acted on.” She smiled warmly. “So what is it like for Nix? Having five lifetimes of experience to integrate?”

"Thank you and I hope that won't happen until I'm old and retired; but I needed to make that known for Dunjen's sake" Nix replied "That was probably the hardest part and the most time consuming, integrating his past lives into my own. But in the end it worked out quite nicely for the both of us....that was one of the Commission's primary goals with the joining process."

T’Mia smiled. “It must be amazing, I can’t even imagine how much the two of you are learning from one another. So how are you settling in aboard ship?”

Nix smiled "It is quite amazing and it's a continuous process" she explained "Pretty well actually, although I spent yesterday on Klavor helping the Commodore with her search, and I met the McTavish's at dinner last night....very nice people."

T’Mia nodded. “It sounds like you’re settling in well. Have you got any worries? Any questions?”

Nix thought for a moment "I don't have any worries....as far as questions....no not right now" she replied "I'm ready to get to work to save lives and make sure no one on this Ship has to go through what the Commodore went through."

T’Mia smiled. “Wonderful. Well I see no reason to keep you waiting any longer, if you should have any problems feel free to drop by and see me.”

"Thank you Counselor, I'll keep that in mind. We appreciate your time and have a pleasant day" Nix replied with a warm smile then left the Office to check in with one more person.
