Mission: Shore Leave on Klavor
Location: USS Amandora

On

Thoros had just lived through a second back surgery but now had to survive a psyche eval from another person called Counselor.

Stopping in as he left sickbay the large new Klingon officer tapped Counselor T'Mia Rahl's door.

" Counselor?"

T’Mia was surprised when she came face to face with a Klingon Officer, there weren’t that many in Starfleet. “That’s me” She smiled warmly. “Please come in.”

" I am here because it is required. You should know I just had back repair surgery and it has left me some what moody. " Thoros warned her as if there would be any difference in his demeanor.

T’Mia nodded. “Thank you for telling me. I’ll admit I’m surprised to see a Klingon Officer, there are very few in Starfleet. It just makes you all the more unique amongst our crew.”

" My father was a stern Gowron follower. Gen Martok was too soft. I joined the Star Fleet after serving the Klingon Defense Force. They had become too weak so I figured I might as well join the Star Fleet. I am an exceptional operations and engineering officer. I have a very long dak'tagh. Do you wish to see it?" Thoros answered her :p

“Well I err ...” T’Mia couldn’t help but grin, the comment could be taken in such a wrong way, but she didn’t want to offend him. “I would be honoured. Actually I trained to use a Bat’leth, it’s one of my favourite weapons.”

" I would enjoy a sparring partner Counselor. So how long have you served this ship?" Thoros replied.

T’Mia motioned Thoros to take a seat. “Actually I’m pretty new onboard, I came as a replacement for a friend who was the previous counsellor.” She took a seat.

" Do you like your job?"

T’Mia nodded. “I do. If I didn’t I wouldn’t be here now. How about you, being part of Starfleet is obviously much different to being part of the crew on a Klingon ship.”

" On a Klingon vessel one knows their place and respects it. Until it is time to challenge a superior. If you do you must be prepared to defend your actions with your life. The new empire is about less of that and more political correctness. There is no honor in being politically correct if your ideas are stupid. Do you interact well with your peers Counselor?" Thoros replied.

T’Mia nodded. “As Starfleet officers we are supposed to. Plus being part of the senior staff means you have to lead by example.”

" Lead by example. On a Klingon ship it is considered to be the greatest honor to die on duty. Are you prepared to die Counselor, for your leaders?" Thoros replied.

T’Mia paused. “If I have to but I’d rather not if I can avoid it.” She offered a smile. “So how do you feel about serving with non Klingon officers?”

" So long as they do their job no problem. So when fo you wish to begin training? I must report to the Captain following this session but after that I will be ready for a workout and then a shower." Thoros replied.

T’Mia smiled. “Give me a call when you’re ready to spar and I’ll meet you at the holodeck. I’m a little rusty as I haven’t practiced since I got here.”

" Do not worry Counselor I know just where to put the oil to unrust you." Thoros snickered. " So am I finished? Did I pass inspection?"

“Inspection huh?” T’Mia nodded. “Well I see nothing that gives me cause for concern, so yes you are finished Thoros.”

" You definately need to call me often. I like how my name flows off of your tongue Counselor." Thoros replied. " One more question are you a Romulan ?"

T’Mia smiled. “I’m not Romulan, I’m half Vulcan and half Betazoid.”

" I look forward to combat against you. maj Qah." Thoros replied as he exited her office.
