Nix walked out of Lieutenant McKeon's office with her head spinning just a bit. Alister had explained her upcoming Infiltration mission and all the pertinent information that he had; including a recon mission in a fighter with 1st Lieutenant Alesha Rivers prior to any execution of the mission.

The Lieutenant had been his usual professional self when it came to explaining the upcoming mission but Nix could sense he wasn't really onboard with the concept; as did Dunjen. Between the time constraints and the fact that it involved the Romulans, Nix knew this would be a tough mission and they would need all the help they could get beforehand.

To that end Nix would need to speak with a couple of Officers before getting her gear together. As Nix walked she tapped her Comm "1st Lieutenant Rivers this is Lieutenant JG Nix Dungen, I'm on my way to the Main Shuttle Bay so we can meet."

Nix walked into the Shuttle Bay looking around for a 1st Lieutenant when Dunjen commented "Isn't that her over there...by the Fighter" she heard him say."Good call old friend" she thought as she made her way over to the Fighter noticing a 1st Lieutenant working on the craft.

"Excuse me, 1st Lieutenant Alesha Rivers?" Nix said with a smile while eyeing this magnificent piece of machinery "I'm Lieutenant JG Nix Dunjen the Infiltration Specialist, I understand we're going to be working together for a bit."

Alesha closed the access panel she'd had opened and turned to face Nix "Yes I'm Alesha Rivers, pleased to meet you. I heard the same thing. This is my personal fighter, a gift from my dad, It's not Federation as you can tell by the markings on it, even though it's on a Federation Starship."

"It's very nice to meet you as well.....I thought your Fighter looked different somehow, now I know why" Nix replied with a smile "From what Lieutenant McKeon explained to me, we're going on a recon mission of the Moon first before I hit the ground....is that accurate?"

Alesha nodded, "To be more accurate we're going into the moon, it's a prison moon and that is where they keep more important prisoners. The only way to reach the cells is by tunnels. I've flown them back when our Queen was being held there. That's the only way in or out is by shuttle or fighter. This baby can cloak and she'll fire cloaked." Alesha patted her fighter.

"Your Fighter sounds impressive" Nix commented "I'll need all the Intel I can get my hands on before I dare get down to the surface moon or otherwise. Then Nix thought for a moment "So if that's the only way in or out of that place...then sounds like I may have to borrow you and your Craft for a ride to and from if that's an option."

"She'll hold her own," Alesha said "Unless the Romulans have built a different way in then shuttle or fighter is the only way in. Only problem is my fighter is only has enough room for two people." Alesha walked over to the side of the craft, pressed a hidden button and the ladder appeared, climbing up Alesha switched on the craft's control panel and translated everything to Federation Standard. Climbing down "Climb in and take a look. I've translated everything to Federation Standard."

Nix smiled as she climbed aboard and sat in the Pilot's seat. This was her first time in a Craft like this noticing all the panels and touch screens "Wow! This is quite the machine....how do you keep all this stuff straight" she asked as she heard Dunjen "Well this is a little more than confusing." At that Nix chuckled "You'll have to excuse me but my Symbiont just pointed out the obvious to me rather humorously."

Alesha climbed up and dropped into the co-pilots seat "It's not hard, it's all in learning it. I can have you ready to fly this one in two weeks. But we don't have two weeks. At this time there are three aboard who can fly it." Alesha pointed to a couple different controls and panels "This one tells you how charged the weapons are, the button under it fires the phasers, the switch there fires the torpedoes. This panel tells you how long she can stay cloaked and you know what the throttle is. I learned to fly by sitting on my dad's lap when I was three. Graduated to shuttles by the time I was eight and a fighter by the time I was thirteen."

"Obviously you have a talent for being a Pilot....if it's all the same to you I'll stick with what we do best" then she paused "You know you sound a lot like me...I started learning Martial Arts when I was ten and by the time I reached nineteen I could have been the youngest Master Trill had ever seen....but instead I decided to join Star Fleet where I could actually help people and not just have a title."

"I love to fly," Alesha confessed "When we go into those tunnels I'll concentrate on flying, you'll need to run the scans so we can relay back to the commodore and XO what is in there and if our people are there. Did anyone tell you how harsh the conditions in the underground cells are and what to expect on the surface?"

"Running the scans won't be a problem, besides it'll give me something to do while your piloting. To answer your question...yes Lieutenant McKeon told me what to expect so I'll dress accordingly when or if I'm down on the moon; depending what the scans show" Nix replied then she made her way out of the Fighter with Alesha following.

Turning to Alesha "I should probably be going, I have a few more people to meet with....let me know when you want to leave for the recon and I'll be ready. Thank you for the tour it was very educational" Nix commented.

Alesha opened another panel on the fighter, removed a PADD, a few taps on it and it was in Federation and handed it to her "This is old, I don't know why I've kept it, but this has readings on those tunnels, cells and conditions on the moon itself. A cloaked fighter will have no problem in there but to do any rescue and we'll need the Delta's the ship carries. And your welcome for the tour. I only hope I didn't bore you. We probably won't launch until we picked up the delegates and then we'll be beamed into space, fighter and all already cloaked so not to draw attention to us."

Nix grabbed the PADD and looked at it briefly "Thank you this should help me a lot, especially considering the time constraint we'll be under. And for the record you didn't bore me, on the contrary I found it to be educational and interesting " she replied "Also that should give me the time I need to finish preparing for the Op.....this will be a tough one. 1st Lieutenant thank you for taking the time to show me your Fighter and for the PADD which I will return after I've gone over the information on it."

"It will be rough but it has to be done, and please call me Alesha. I'll make sure the fighter is set, charged and ready to go once we're given the word from the commodore," Alesha said "If you have any more questions let me know."

"Yes I know this Op definitely needs to be done and we'll get it done successfully...there is no doubt in my mind Alesha...and please call me Nix. I'll be waiting for your call" Nix replied then turned to go and see someone else.
