While James was getting ready for Dinner he had asked Heather to take a look at the data that 1st Lieutenant Rivers and Lieutenant JG Dunjen had collected from the Recon mission to the Moon around Romulus. He would ask Heather to review data if she wasn't especially busy with her own work from time to time.
After going over the data from the scans she was surprised by the conditions on the Moon's surface. Temperatures held between thirty to forty degrees most of the time with a high humidity level above eighty five percent. This combination would make for a cold and damp environment for any warm blooded animal to exist in.
Even though James was the real expert in the planet's surface analysis, he had asked her to do a preliminary review of the scans to save him some time later which Heather was more than happy to do for him.
While Heather was going over the scans she noticed something was not quite right so she made a notation to bring it to James' attention.
When she had finished going over the data Heather decided to send James a formal report so if he felt it necessary he could then forward it on to Command. The report read as follows:
-------------------------------------------------------
To: Lieutenant James McTavish
Subject: Moon Scans Analysis
After going over the Environmental Data from the scans I have determined the Prison has cold and very damp conditions all the time. Even though I'm not a Doctor....Biology is Biology.....this type of environment that warm blooded beings live in constantly is not good for the body. I suspect upper respiratory problems, and even lower respiratory, must exist for the prisoners as well as severe coughs. Untreated these conditions can often times lead to other complications and even death.
This is, in my mind, a very hostile environment for any warm blooded creature and should not even exist.
As a side note I noticed something is off with the Moon's surface and should be studied further by someone who is an authority in that type of Science.

Head of Biology

After filing her report Heather sent it off to James for him to take a look at and hopefully save him some time in the process.
By the time everything was finished that she had been asked to do it was the end of her shift. After going over some things with her relief, Heather left the Lab to go home and make herself something to eat since James was at a formal dinner which would probably last for a few hours anyway.
