Mission:
Rescue On Romulus
Location: Romulan vessel
Timeline: current/somewhere in between
ON:
The Science Chief on the T'Varo class Romulan Bird of Prey looked to a screen as a soft bleep sounded. The lateral array had caught an energy surge, one easily recognizable. Tutning his attentions to that, and leaving the sensors on passive he swung the main array in that direction. Yes, there it was, traces of ACB energy. "Sub-commander N'vel. I have something."
The captain of this vessel, the I.R.W Nadel, stood from his command seat and walked over, looking at where his science officer was pointing at a screen. "What is it, Lieutenant?"
"When the runabout with our envoys was going into their main shuttlebay, an energy beam was released to these coordinates. Going over the passive data for that tim frame shows that the beam ended and there was nothing there. My tactical guess, Sir, is that they beamed something to that location. Yet, there is nothing there. They are planning something, or have enacted some plan."
The Sub-commander did not hesitate, having served with his Science officer for over a decade now. Revik was an honorable man and a damn fine soldier. He turned and walked back to his chair, speaking as he went and sat down. "Helm, when the Starfleet vessel begins to move project a prabolic course so we may confer with High Command. We need to speak to Commander Taris."
They bided their time and when the Starfleet vessel finally jumped to warp, the Nadel did the same, course projected as had been ordered. Sub-commander N'vel contacted Romulan High Command and was redirected immediately to speak to Commander Taris. As her image appeared before him on the holopad, a full color realistic image of the famous hero of the Empire, that beautiful, classic face turned its eyes to him. She bore no ridges like other Romulans. Her bloodlines ran with those without such...deformities. "I hear your call is urgent. Tell me everything you know..."
The meeting began.
