Damien's Quarters

= The time is 0342 Hours. = The ship's computer responded to Saunders query. He lay in bed with his forearms bare across his head. He had been twisting and turning the whole night since he went to sleep. It was his migraines. They had begun once again, and with force.

He even found his nose was fresh from bleeding. With a throbbing headache, he got up, washed his face, and put on a pair of sleeper pants. He walked down to the Sick Bay to see if something could be given for his migraine. Anything to knock it out.

Sick Bay

Entering the sickbay was the unfamiliar hum of different medical machines.

Dr H'iri had night watch and easily sensed Saunders arrival.

" Lieutenant pleassse state the medicalll emergencccy?" the Caitian purred.

"Doctor H'iri." He grimaced, his hand planted on his forehead, massaging his temples. "Feeling a bit dizzy. I have a migraine again, I always have them. This time I started bleeding..." He showed his hand once more, bleeding on Saunders hand.

He felt just relieved he made it to Sick Bay without walking in to a wall, his double vision was increasingly being difficult.

" Come to the bed and I'lll examine you." H'iri motioned. " What we're you doing when this one occured?" H'iri asked.

"I was just getting out of bed for my shift. That is when I noticed the dizziness, and then the blood in the nose." He shook his head. "It's really nothing Doctor." He wanted to downplay his concerns.

He looked around the sickbay from his bed. "This is the first time I have been in here, It is nice to meet you..." He paussed, dizzy once more... "Doctor H'iriā€¦" Before Saunders fell back unconscious on the bio bed.

She quickly stabilized his vitals but kept him still until all of his scans were complete.

A blood sample later would reveal his diet and once he was stable she would learn whether or not he had a anurism.

< Few Minutes later >

H'iri stroked his temloral lobes and attached the temporal stimulators to monitor his reading.

An interesting reading was found in Mr Saunders scan.

" Damiennnn can you hearrr me? " she whispered.

A white blindness filled his eyesight. A dizziness overcome him, as he tried to focus. "What?" He managed to speak. Before trying to lift his self up, but feeling extremely weak. "Doctor? What happened." He opened and closed his eyes focusing.

" You passsed out. Damiennn are you telepathic or empathic? Your temporal nodes are elevated in the para cortex of your brain? This is indusive of being telepathic." asked H'iri.

Saunders grimaced as his migraine was still there. It was hard for him to talk, having just re-awoken from passing out. "Doctor.." He managed to think it through. "I am an El-Aurian. My race has a limited empathic ability to sense feelings in others. We are a race of listeners. It has been said." He offered.

He shook his head, though. "I am relatively young. In my race, we don't experience empathic abilities so early on. "I'm only 43. For my race, I'm considered a child still." He managed to sit upward, relaxed now.

" Just a possssibility. I will give you standard migrane medications to compensate. Steer clear of any dietary triggers you may have. You first dose will be a shot." H'iri purred.

"Damien nodded slowly trying not to trigger his migraine further. "What is it called?" He had wanted to know for reference. "Thank you Doctor." He was so relieved to find such a caring Doctor, one who relieved his pain instantly.

The solution H'iri injected Damien with immediately had him roll back his eyes in relief. "Ohhh.. my goddd.." He mouthed in relief...

" Supraorbital transcutaneous stimulator. The first is a sstimulant. I will loan you this stimulatorr should your symptoms reoccurr." H'iri replied.
