{Cottage}

The next morning Jamie woke up about zero ten hundred as he sneaked out of bed to use the bathroom and brush his teeth. When he returned Heather was awake sitting up in bed.

Jamie walked over admiring her naked body, which he never got tired of seeing, and bent down to give Heather a kiss "Good morning sweetheart...sleep well" he asked.

"Good morning to you too and yes I slept like a baby" she replied with a smile.

"So did I" he replied "How about I go make us some coffee we can enjoy right here."

"That would be nice" she stated as Jamie went into the Kitchen and Heather made her way into the bathroom.

When he returned with the coffee Heather was back in bed as Jamie walked over to her side "Here's your coffee....it's hot so don't burn yourself" Jamie said with a grin then got back into bed himself.

"Don't worry I'll be careful" as she began sipping her coffee.

They enjoyed their coffee together and when finished Heather curled up next to Jamie. After several minutes Heather began kissing Jamie in all the right places.

He looked at Heather with a grin "And what's on your mind Lieutenant" he asked knowing full well what was about to happen.

Heather just grinned "Here let me show you Commander" and those were the last words spoken for a few hours.

Later the two of them showered and dressed as Jamie asked "There's a Plaza not too far from here, would you like to go and poke around and maybe have something to eat while we're at it."

"That would be nice....we may as well see what's in the area for future visits" she replied planning on coming here as much as they could from time to time.

The couple left the Cottage, after securing the door, and boarded the Shuttle. Jamie released the airlock then did a quick preflight check and keyed in the coordinates to the Plaza. Looking over at Heather "Our ETA is ten minutes" he stated as the Shuttle lifted off the pad and headed for their destination.

"That's not long at all" Heather replied. "No it's not and I'm only going at half impulse....don't want to get into trouble for going too fast" he stated with a grin.

{Plaza}

As they approached the Plaza, Jamie pressed the Comms "Plaza Control this is Star Fleet Shuttle requesting clearance to land."

"You have the green light Stare Fleet and welcome" came the reply.

The parking area was set up like a Ship as Jamie guided the Shuttle through an invisible curtain and landed with a normal atmosphere inside.

Once they found a parking spot Jamie shut down the Shuttle as he looked over at Heather "You ready to have a look around" he asked with a grin.

"Yes I am; let's see what's here" she replied as the two left the Shuttle after Jamie secured the door.

The couple walked around for a couple of hours looking at all the different Shoppes and having a nice time. Heather even bought herself a couple of things for their Quarters back on the Ship.

After awhile they came to a little Bistro and went inside to enjoy a nice meal. When they were finished Jamie asked "So do you want to go back to the Cottage or would you like to look around some more."

Heather thought for a few moments "Let's go back to the Cottage and relax. It'll be time to leave and go back to the Ship before you know it" she replied wishing it wasn't so.

Jamie nodded in agreement and the couple boarded the Shuttle and made their way back.

{Cottage}

Upon their return Jamie did his usual routine with the Shuttle and soon they were back in their very own 'little slice of heaven'.

Jamie looked at Heather "Would you like a glass of wine" he asked.

"Yes, thank you that would be nice" she replied as she sat on the couch.

Going to the Fridge Jamie noticed there was only enough left for two glasses so he decided to have something a little stronger. Going to the replicator "Computer 1 glass of Irish Whiskey on ice."

Moments later Jamie grabbed both drinks and went out into the living area and handed a glass to Heather. She noticed his glass "Aren't you going to have any wine" she asked.

Jamie smiled "No I think I want something a little stronger; besides there's only enough for one more glass and I don't think we should open another bottle" he explained.

"You're right and one more glass will do me anyway" she stated with a grin.

They sat and talked for a few more hours when Heather asked "So what's the plan for tomorrow" not really wanting to know.

Jamie thought for a few moments "Well let's sleep in again, then I'll make us a nice brunch and we'll look over O'Brains letter and come to a decision. We can head back to the Star Base, or the Ship, sometime after twelve hundred if that's agreeable with you."

"That sounds good" she replied then paused "I guess we have to get back to reality sooner or later."
