Mission: Shore Leave On Starbase Mercury

OFF:

Where is everyone? Character development at Star Base Mercury and shore leave. Lots of things to post to. Posting as Eddie Brisco, remember he’s not to be killed, or caught for very long. He’s going to be a recurring person. Also not everyone is going to know who he is. Don’t assume you know him. Commander O’Connell yes can know him. Brisco made an appearance on the Independence.

ON:

Eddie had left McKinley Outpost and had gone to Star Base Mercury, he was sitting in a bar enjoying a drink when he noticed the Galaxy Class Starship pull into dock, grinning as he downed his drink. Tossing a few coins on the table he got up and walked to his hotel room. Taking a seat he picked his lap top and after logging it up double checked the crew complement for a ship that size. One thousand officers, crew, civilians and sixty marines. Commanding officer was listed as Commodore Cyndi Song. “Starfleet commodore now that’s interesting. And what’s this? Commander Jamie O’Connell? Well this is where you went to once the Independence was sent off for a refit. Now where is Rayven and my daughter? Rayven is not listed on the Amandora.”

Logging out of his computer Eddie got to his feet, put the lap top into a case, walked to his bedroom, packed his duffel complete with his Starfleet Uniform, the latter he changed into, walking into the bathroom he packed his toiletries, trimmed his beard to Starfleet regulations same with his hair. Once that was done Eddie tossed the rest into his duffel.

After checking out of his hotel room Eddie sorted through his Starfleet ID’s and found one that he knew would work and headed for the docking ring where the ship was docked, showing his ID to the officer on duty and was cleared he made his way to civilian quarters so not to draw suspicion that he was aboard, not until he was able to get fleet quarters. Having a background in engineering was going to come in very handy. But for now he needed to get a feel of the ship and crew. With the beard he knew O’Connell would not recognize him right away.

Leaving the quarters Eddie made his way through the ship watching everyone as he passed. No one noticed him and that made him grin. He’d check in engineering later right now it was time to observe things and what better place than Ten forward. Walking in he ordered a drink, plate of food and took a seat to watch.
