Remember you do not know Eddie, the only one who could recognize him would be Commander O’Connell. Eddie sports a regulation beard since they last saw each other. Please play along with this.

ON:

Eddie grinned as he thought about the reaction from Heather O’Connell and Heather McTavish over the flowers. It had been a productive first day aboard the ship. Walking from Ten Forward he passed a gift ship, stepping in Eddie spotted a large box of candy and a large Teddy Bear, picking them up he walked to the cashier “Can you see to it these are delivered for me. I want to surprise my sister and my sister in law.”

“Of course I can,” the lady said “What would you like the cards to say?”

Eddie picked up two cards and addressed the Teddy Bear to go to Heather O’Connell, and the box of chocolates were to go to Heather McTavish. Instead of his name Eddie drew a big smiley face on both cards and placed them on the packages. He paid for the orders “I’d like them delivered as soon as possible.”

“Right away sir,” the lady said as she handed them off to the delivery people.

Eddie thought a few more minutes “I’d like flowers to be sent to the following officers. Commodore Song, Commander Green, Doctor Long, Lieutenant Herculoid, First Lieutenant Rivers and Lieutenant Kahn. Sign the card thank you for your service, make it six roses, I don’t care what colors they are.” He handed her some more coins and walked from the gift shop whistling as he went. It had been a productive first day aboard the ship.

Walking into the quarters he was using he took a shower, wrapped a towel around his waist and walked into the living room, propped her feet on the table and contemplated what to do tomorrow.
