{Deck 2 - Quarters}

While the Amandora was heading towards Zaris Three, things were pretty mellow on the Ship. Jamie and Heather decided to go to Ten Forward for dinner.

"Jamie would you mind if I asked Nix to join us for dinner, I don't think she gets out socially much" Heather explained.

"Sure, that's fine....maybe about eighteen hundred and we'll meet in the Lounge" Jamie suggested as Heather nodded in agreement then tapped her Comm "Lieutenant JG Dunjen, this is Devroe would you like to join us for dinner" she queried.

"Yes that would be nice" then she paused a moment "Can I bring a friend" Nix asked.

Heather looked at Jamie and smirked "Sure, the more the merrier...say we meet in the Lounge at eighteen hundred and dress casual" she commented. "See you then" Nix replied.

{Deck Ten - Lounge}

Heather and Jamie arrived a few minutes early and grabbed a table by the viewport. Soon Heather looked up to see Nix and a cute female friend following.

Nix walked up to the table "Hi Heather, Jamie this is my friend Ensign Kira Foreese....she works in the Intelligence department too" she stated with a smile.

Jamie smiled "Kira it's nice to meet you and please have a seat" he replied as the ladies sat.

"Commander it's nice to meet you as well....I've seen you around and it's nice to see you again Heather" Kira replied with a smile.

"Please call me Jamie since we're off duty" he responded "Yes I've seen you down in Intelligence before" he stated.

The four ordered drinks and dinner then had casual conversation while waiting for the food to arrive.

Jamie looked up just in time to see McTavish walk in with his Wife looking for a place to sit as he nudged Heather and nodded towards the couple "Why don't you ask them to join us" Heather suggested.

Jamie whistled as James looked over seeing Jamie motion for them to come over. When they arrived at the table Heather asked "Why don't you join us for dinner....more the merrier" she said with a smile.

James looked at his Heather as she replied "We'd love to as long as we're not intruding" she replied with a smile.

"No not at all...please join us we just ordered dinner" Jamie commented so the couple sat as the introductions were made all around.

"Heather looked at Heather and giggled" James said there was another Heather on board...this should make for interesting conversation.

Heather thought for a moment "I know just call me Devroe then there won't be any confusion that way" she stated with a smile.

"Ok Devroe that should make the evening a little less confusing" Heather answered with a giggle.

Soon everyone's dinner arrived and the six sat and chatted while enjoying their meal and eating at their leisure.

"Devroe I understand you will be working with Nix as an Infiltration Specialist" James stated.

"Yes Nix and I have doing quite a bit of training to bring me up to speed; I'm actually looking forward to our first Mission together" Devroe replied.

"She's done very well and is ready for any Mission they throw at us" Nix stated with a smile as she looked towards Devroe.

Then Jamie chimed in "Depending what we find on Zaris Three you two may get your chance to work together in the field" he commented "And sounds like the Science Department is going to be quite busy with all the samples the Commodore wants collected.

"Yes we'll be very busy after James does all his collecting" Heather stated "And I for one am happy there'll be lots to do."

James had to chuckle "And lots of reports to file also" he replied.

Jamie looked at Kira not wanting her to be left out of the conversation "Kira what exactly do you do in Intelligence" he queried.

"I maintain the security in the weapons area as well as make sure all the equipment and Tech is one hundred percent ready when the ladies need them....I don't want them to have any surprises when on an Op" Kira explained.

"And we appreciate that too" Nix chimed in with a grin.

The six of them sat and had casual conversation for the next few hours as some laughter could also be heard.

Nix seeing that it was getting late looked at Kira then stated "It's getting kind of late and we should be going. Thank you all for a very nice evening" she commented as Kira agreed before they stood and left.

James looked at Heather "We should be going too and thanks for a nice time....we should do this again sometime" he stated as the couple stood.

"Yes we should do this again and we had a nice evening as well...thank you" Jamie replied with a smile as the McTavish couple stood and left for home.

Now that the couple were alone Heather asked "So what did you think of Nix's cute friend."

"I think they make a cute couple, that is if there's any attraction there. Besides after getting to know Katlyn on the Indy....nothing surprises me any more" Jamie commented with a grin.

Heather finished her glass of wine then whispered in Jamie's ear "I think I hear our bed calling our names if your interested" she commented with a grin.

Jamie looked into Heather's beautiful blue eyes "You don't have to ask me twice" he replied with a snicker then the two left for home.
