{Deck 5 - McTavish Quarters}

Three days had passed and James was feeling more like his old self again. Having already been cleared for duty by Medical James was dressed in his uniform and was ready to go back to work.

{Deck 5 - Main Lab}

James walked in noticing everyone hard at work as he approached Heather "Good morning Lieutenant, how is the analysis going on the samples from Zaris Three" James asked with a smile.

"Good Lieutenant, everything seems pretty much normal for a planet of this type" Heather replied then in a low voice "I take it you're feeling much better.....you certainly look better."

James smiled as he replied "Yes, I'm feeling more like my old self this morning. Any problems I should be aware of in my absence" he queried.

"No, everything ran very smoothly.....as I would expect in your department. I checked on the other three decks of labs and they are all doing fine and they wished you a speedy recovery" she commented being quite proud of her Husband's ability to manage others.

James smiled "I can't take all the credit, you have a way with others that I couldn't even hope to emulate. I guess we make a good team" he replied with a smile.

"Thank you James" she whispered "That means a lot coming from you" she stated as she reached over a gave his arm a squeeze.

"You're welcome, but I only was pointing out the obvious. You're a very talented scientist" James stated "Since you have everything under control, I should go to my Office and see how many reports have plied up in my absence. So I'll see you at home" as he smiled then turned and left the Lab.

{CSO's Office}

James walked in and grabbed a water as he sat at his desk and keyed in his security code into the Terminal.

As he pulled up the Reports James noticed there were a lot of them as he thought to himself "This is going to be a long day."
