Cyndi walked into her quarters and changed into pair of black shorts, red halter top that she knew would tease Paul and a pair of tan sandals. The teasing of her husband would come later, grabbing a sarong she tied it around one shoulder.

Paul had heard the invitation to beam down to meet the tribal chief that long ago had become friends with Cyndi. He was wearing shorts, tank top and flip flops. Why does Nankuk want to meet me?”

Cyndi walked over and wrapped her arms around his neck “Because he knows I’m married and wants to meet the man who married me.”

“Why your snake?” Paul asked kissing her.

“When he gave me Walker I was terrified of snakes, Walker was about six inches long and as Nankuk told me the perfect size to earn to not fear them. He’s now grown to fifteen feet in a few years and the chief wants to see him.

A short time later Paul, Cyndi and her pet snake Walker materliazed in Nankuk’s villiage, the chief walked over and gave Cyndi a bear hug, he then turned to Paul and gave him an embrace.

“Welcome to my village, she told me she’d gotten married, you’re a lucky man,” Nankuk said taking the snake from Cyndi and holding it up before walking over and placing in into an enclosure he’d prepared for it complete with some native things for it to eat. “Come, my wife has a feast ready for you, your snake is fine, he’ll fill up on what I put in there for him.

Later

The feast was over, the sun was setting causing the rings around the planet to glow as they reflected the rays of the setting sun. The sky was ablaze with mulit colors ranging from reds, to yellows, to purples, pinks, oranges and greens. As the sky darkened the stars came out.

“I should head back to the ship,” Cyndi said

“No need, I have a tent ready for you and I’d be most honored if you’d stay the night,” Nankuk said “When you get up you and Paul can enjoy the planet since he’s never been here.”

“I like that idea,” Paul agreed

Nankuk led the way to a tent he’s prepared for Cyndi and Paul, fur rugs covered large mats on the ground that were made of bamboo, and vines making it soft and comfortable. Small glowing rocks and stones were around the tent giving off just enough light to see by.

“I think the two of you conspired against me,” Cyndi said smiling “I love this, thank you.”

Nankuk grinned “I’ll leave the two of you alone and will see you in the morning.” With that he left. Paul turned to his wife and gently eased her onto the mats on the ground as he helped her out of her clothes and pulled the furs over them and began to kiss her passionately.
