#27 The Daily Grind

Posted on Sun Nov 20th, 2022 @ 5:41pm by Lieutenant JG Marcus Resch {Meji}

Mission: BUGS OH NO!!
Location: Bridge
Timeline: current

ON:

As per directive Marcus Resch was up and ready to go by 0500. Knowing how his day was going to be, what with repairs and maintenance still in full swing, he put his palm PADD in his thigh pocket and then replicated a waist clip holster for his tricorder, which had charged while he took care of his hygiene and dressing for the day. Slotting the device he gave a final check in his mirror and then exited his quarters.

Pulling his PADD out he began to check for his first duties of the day. Bridge. Obviously Green wanted him on the command deck for when the Commodore made an appearance, for introductions he was sure. The bonus was that his Security Clearance would need to be raised a few levels since he would be privy to information most crew would never see, or even know about. Including the XO. It was unfortunate but the way of things. If nothing else the last few conflicts and wars the Federation had been involved in had raised the need for new designations for CLASSIFIED, SECRET, and so forth. Most of those documents his eyes would never see but there were always those that he would.

On the Bridge by 0605, Resch began his rounds. All he jotted down would immediately and automatically get compiled for easier report reading, and as each piece of data was taken down then it was shunted to Mister Thoros for his review as Operations Manager. Resch noted that Green was in her chair, sipping a hot beverage from a thermomug as she too looked at departmental reports from last night. Not wanting to bother her he went to SCI II and began to use the station to look at the damage control teams and each section. As their reports had come in there were a few teams that had requested certain resources and equipment they did not have on hand. Resch looked to the order messages and made sure that each team would be contacted and their requests sent to them either by personnel, or by transporter. All departments were sent a flag to look out for their requests.

Until he was told otherwise Marcus would do his duty as he always had. Low-key and quiet, no distractions, and no chit-chat. Amandora's bruises and scrapes had been seen to but she was still a long way from completely back to 100%.
