Post Number 34 Repairs Nearly Completed

With most of the battle damage repaired, and several high ranking officers off the ship that led Cyndi with little command support. Her first and second officers were on away missions, there were dead officers, crew and civilians that she’d need to contact families for condolences.

Paul having been in engineering assisting in getting the Amandora put back together and had worked closely with the damage repair crews as well decided now that things had settled down needed to check on Cyndi as the command teams were off the ship leaving her to run things alone. Walking onto the bridge over to the command circle Paul took the seat usually reserved for the first officer. Paul reached over and took her hand and squeezed it. “How you holding up?”

“Like crap, my ship’s been heavily damaged, I have dead officers, crew and civilians, my husband had to come out or retirement to help fix this mess and you ask how I’m doing,” Cyndi said as she was handed more reports.

“You knew the risks when you accepted this command and everyone aboard knows the risks of being on a Star Ship,” Paul reminded her

“Brisco, I ever get my hand s on him I’ll hang him up by his toe nails,” Cyndi retorted

“He stole a Federation Ship, probably murdered the crew that was on her and attacked a Federation Ship. Starfleet will want his ass for this and he’ll be doing heavy time in a penal colony,” Paul commented

“Commodore, incoming phaser fire!” tactical called

“Helm evasive maneuvers!” Cyndi ordered

The helm officer moved the ship just as the phasers hit, the ship rocked from the phaser fire.


“Damage report! We just got this ship back together,” Cyndi called

“Minor damage, commodore, the shields held,” came the response

“We can’t target that Akira for fear of hitting the Romulans,” Cyndi growled


“Commodore, the Romulan ship Commander O’Connell is on his moving away and is in pursuit of the Akira,” Helm announced “Do we follow?”

“No, let them get him, I’ve got an away team out,” Cyndi said “Pluss we’ve still got more repairs. Communications let Commander O’Connell know we’re okay, send message to Sub Commander Jyngza know we’re okay as well,”

“Understood sir,” communications responded.
