BUGS OH NO!!

With repairs handled and all reports filed, Marcus Resch had returned to his quarters to rest a bit. Of course, his form of rest was rearranging and redesigning his cabins to suit who he was as a person. Small kitchenette area, a small island/buddy bar with stools. Over in a corner of his main 'living room' area he had built and installed an open face potbelly wood burning stove. The wood within was fake but the flames were real as it provided the homey, log cabin feel to his spaces. He had arranged the furnishings in the main area to more or less sit around the fire with a central table for drinks and feet to be placed upon. It was as cozy and comfortable as his log cabin back home in the mountains of Livingston, Montana.
It had taken him the past few days to bring all the equipment to his cabin, most of it beamed in and left to sit while he attended to his duties. In his down time he would then come home and install it all, sending the reports of such to Engineering and Operations, so they could see all had been installed properly. His dishes and utensils were all made to stay, and he did the dishes by hand in the tub-sink near to the oven and grill. They were stacked neatly in his extra room, or storage room, which had also become his pantry of sorts. Going into the pantry he came out carrying a bottle of Merlot, a Picard 2312. Taking it over to his bar he then used the cork screw and opened it, letting it breathe while he reached up above the bar and took down one of the dozen wine glasses hanging upside down in their rack. Once placed he then half filled the glass and took it up as he walked over to his viewport and looked out into space.
Sipping his wine Marcus caught sight of the massive asteroid in the distance. From here it looked no bigger than his fist but he had read the reports from Green and the others in regards to just how large that behemoth was. A full complex within, with corridors large enough to fly a Delta Flier through. And yet, their quarry had escaped them, in the very freighter that the Amandora had initially began to aid before chaos was upon them. O'Connell and his away teams were now working with the Romulan Republic to hunt down and end the threat from the stolen Akira class. He wished them God-speed in their quest. The unfortunate death of Doctor Bjorgo had caused him to bow his head in grief for a moment. But, that death was no less tragic than all the others who had died with him to save the ship. The crew members who were not officers were just as valuable as those sporting pips, and no one should ever forget that. Finishing his wine Marcus went back to the sink and washed the glass and then hung it in the rack after drying, corking the wine and setting it in its holder to prevent it getting tossed about should the ship suddenly rock violently. Satisfied with his environment Resch went over to his sofa, slipped his boots off and then laid back to take a nap. He was out like a light within a few minutes.
