The Ship arrived within a nominal distance of the Amandora when O'Connell ordered "Helm hold position and go to station keeping."

"Aye Commander" Helm responded as Jamie tapped his Comm "Commodore Song this is Commander O'Connell I would like to have a word with you at your earliest convenience" he stated.

Then turning to his Crew "Please stay here with the Ship until I have a chance to talk with the Commodore before any of you disembark" Jamie ordered then waited for the response from Cyndi.

Cyndi tapped her com, I'm free now, I can beam over to you or you can beam aboard, your call commander"

" Commodore I'll come to you momentarily, O'Connell out" looking at his Crew "I'll be back soon" then tapping his Comm once again "Transporter Room this is Commander O'Connell lock on to my signal and transport me to the Bridge of the Amandora" came the order and moments later Jamie was gone.

{Amandora}

The Commander materialized on the Bridge and look around for a moment "It's good to be back home" he thought as he made his way to Song's Ready Room. Palming the chime he waited for a response.

"Come in," Cyndi called, tucking her hair behind her ear as it had come lose during the fighting and she'd not bothered to pull it back into her usual ponytail.

Jamie walked in and stood at the prescribed distance from the desk "Commodore thank you for seeing me so quickly" he commented "Even though I will be filing a full report later I wanted to let you know as soon as possible what transpired on our mission."

"Please have a seat," Cyndi said "Please tell me you got Brisco locked up tight."

Jamie took the offered seat then collected himself " Brisco was locked up, was being the operative word. Let me start from the beginning Commodore" he stated then continued "The Team, led by 1st Lieutenant West were able to secure the Ship although about half of Brisco's crew were killed in the process. Himself and his remaining Crew were locked up in the Brig. Since two Ships had to be CO'ed Centurion Omar asked permission to command the Nanclus and I agreed. When we were almost back to these coordinates Omar changed course and at my inquiry she informed me that she was going to leave the Romulan Republic and granted Brisco and his remaining Crew their freedom if they aided her for a time. At that point my orders had been fulfilled and I opted not to pursue her since that is a matter for the Romulan Republic and not Star Fleet; nor did I want to put my Crew in jeopardy for no reason." Then Jamie waited for the Commodore's reaction.

"You made the right call, it is up to the Romulan Republic, I have no doubt we'll hear from Brisco again and if Omar is leaving the Romulan Republic then Sub-Commander Alona is I'm sure well aware. We picked up on sensors and explosion. What blew up out there? " Cyndi said.

"Our sensors picked the the same thing but it wasn't anything on either Ship" Jamie stated with certainty "And obviously we didn't have a chance to investigate. So what's the plan for the Akira ship now that she's been recovered?"

"The plan is to take it to a star base for a overhaul and to find out what happened to her crew and how Brisco got a hold of it," Cyndi said "She'll then be given a new captain and crew and put back into service. I'd like you to remain in command of her until we arrive at the star base. Since your already there with a crew. That is if your up to the task."

O'Connell just grinned "The Crew will love this......and yes I'm up to the task" then he paused "Considering the Crew is made up of people from two different worlds they acted and melded as one Crew very well. They performed very well and 1st Lieutenant West did an admirable job, as did the entire Team, is securing the Ship. It was my pleasure to have served along beside of them."

"Are there any Romulans aboard?" Cyndi asked or have they all left. As for the crew both aboard this one and on the Akira things are in the wind and I'm not going to reveal anything yet. You'll find out as time goes on. I'm in Sub-Commander Alona's debt, had it not been for her and the dare devil stunt Rivers pulled I'd not have a ship."

"You read my mind Commodore" Jamie said with a grin "The Romulans are still aboard and I'll still need them to get the Ship to the Base, once there we can contact the Sub-Commander and arrange for their pickup" then he paused "I'm certainly grateful that things turned out for the best; it'll be nice to have a Ship to come home to."

"I think since your crew over there knows you and how you command you should keep them until we arrive at the star base. Then I'll contact Sub-Commander Alona and have her come pick them up if they want to go with her," Cyndi said.

"I agree Commodore" he replied as he stood "Well since I have a Ship and Crew to attend to I should get to it. I will see you once we reach the Star Base."

Cyndi stood as well, "As soon as I hear from the engine room that warp drive is back online we'll be underway. I'll let you know what star base we'll head for and will match your course and speed. Job well done commander."

"Thank you Commodore; I'll wait for your call" Commander O'Connell replied then turned to head back to his Ship.
