The week of leave had gone fast, from Alesha and Kristian exploring the old city, Kristian getting her ankle fixed, Alesha spending time with her family and getting schooled more in fighter flying. Tara had spent a couple days on the forbidden moon studying the people and beings that lived there. Alesha was disappointed as Thirman had expressed wanting to go to Amzock with her for leave yet when the West Wind had pulled out and headed for Amzock he’d not shown up.

Tara, Kristian and Alesha were on the Amazon flag ship the West Wind as it sped toward Star Base Pegasus. Alesha’s mother Marlaina was commanding the ship, she was on an extended leave from Starleet along with her husband Kalielf. Neither of them had felt wanted or needed in Starfleet despite Kalief being graduate of Starfleet.

“Mar, we’re in sensor range of the Pegasus,” Kalief said as he took the ship out of warp.

Tapping a button on the arm of her command chair, “Tara, Kristian and Alesha we’re dropping out of warp and will pull into transporter range of the Amandora, I’ll meet you three in the transporter room.”

“Thank you Marlaina,” Tara responded as she looked at her two friends “Time to go,”

They picked up their small bags they were taking back to the ship and headed for the transporter room. Marlaina was already there when they walked in. “I’ve notified your ship, kalief has the coordinates for transporter room two for the three of you, they’ll be ready.”

“Thank you Marlaina, I’m going to miss you,” Tara said hugging her as she stepped onto the transporter pad.

Kristian hugged Marlaina as she was a family friend and a highly trusted member of the royal family “Please tell the doctors back home thank you.” Kristian took a place on the transporter pad

Marlaina nodded “I’ll tell them.”

“Mum,” Alesha said hugging her mother tightly

Marlaina hugged her daughter “Mind what you’ve learned, I’m proud of you. Your dad and I are only a com away.”

“I know mum,” Alesha said stepping onto the transporter pad behind Tara and Kristian.

Marlaina looked to the operator “You have the coordinates?”

“I do general,” he answered

“Energize,” Marlaina ordered and in seconds the three Amazon’s were gone.

Tara, Kristian and Alesha materliazed on the Amandora and were welcomed back by the operator. Tara walked over to the view port followed by Kristian and Alesha, they watched as the West Wind turned away from the Amandora and jumped to warp.

“We better go change, I’ll let the commodore and Commanders Green and O’Connell we’re back aboard,” Tara said

“Thank you,” Alesha said as they walked from the transporter room “I better go see what my pilots have been up to.”

“And I need to get to sick bay and see what if anything is going on there.” Kristian said as they went in their separate directions.

Tara walked into her quarters a few minutes later, placed her research of the moon and several other areas of Amzock on the desk and took a seat at her computer and logged all three of them in as back aboard and active. Next a message was sent to Commodore Song, Commanders Green, O’Connell and then to her boss. Once that was done Tara then logged into the blind on the Amazon moon to check on things there, and downloaded the latest reports for later viewing.
