BUGS OH NO!!

Timeline: current
OOC: The moon Puaza is my rendition of the moon Pandora in the Avatar films. The Puazi connection is not done through a braid on their heads, but instead comes from the Eldritch Magick they can wield, and do use in their daily lives to remain 'connected' to their goddess, Zaia. Like Pandora, Zaia is the living world they exist on, keeping their world in balance. And, yes, Puaza even has all that cool bioluminesence the films have. So, when I speak of Nira's quarters being a biodome representation of her home world, that is what is going on. Thanks, Sean.
ON:
Being who she was, Seraasha Whisperwind was a being tied to the natural, as was the Puazi way. She had her glass plant in her hands as she walked through the hallways towards the arboretum. She studied every day, for hours and hours to better understand the galaxy around her, even if it wasn't the one she was born into. And, during those studies she had found entertainment she had watched and listened to. All the music her daddy listened to actually had music videos to go along with it, so Sera had fallen into the pit of being a kid who likes music and the videos that came with it. Of course, like any being, there was what she liked, and what she disliked. She much preferred the upbeat, body moving music, not the overly harsh heavy metal. And, on occasion, she loved to sit and listen to classical music and ballads. And, it seemed that Earth music, especially that from the 21st century or earlier, was really the best. So, as before, little Sera had earbuds in and was listening to a long list of The Beatles she had found and recalled on her PADD.
Arriving in the arboretum, always loving the scents and sounds, her bare feet able to walk on grass and soil, to 'feel' the life within all. Over by the stream built to flow through this dome of naturalism, Sera had found a thick place of shrubbery where her little glass plant should do well. As a gift from Doctor Long, she wanted to make sure the glass plant would be happy and not alone. On Puaza, there were various crystalline plants that were nodes of power for being one with the Goddess Zaia. Finding her spot after shouldering smoothly through the shrubbery, Sera squatted and began to use her hands to dig in the soil and create a hole to place the roots in, so they could take hold and grow strong. On her waist she wore an equipment belt she had woven together from the natural fibers found in her quarters, as strong as any leatheris one could create from the replicator. On it she had placed box-pouches to carry things, or to leave empty in case she found a small item she wished to possess and examine. As of now, all her pouches were empty as she had taken her treasures to her room and hid them among the flora there.
So, on task, Sera finished her scooping out of the hole and then gently removed the glass plant from its pot, careful to make sure she did not damage the root bulb or the plant itself. A great amount of the soil from the pot came with the plant, which was good, and would aid in easing the shock of transference for the plant as it settled into its new home. Once she had lightly packed the soil around the roots and base she then went to the stream and created a sphere of Eldritch energy, enclosing a healthy portion of water within, taking hold of it like a globe in both hands once it had a sufficient amount within. Going back to her plant she squatted and allowed the water to slowly dribble from the bottom, making sure to go in concentric circles around the roughed soil, letting it seep into the turf instead of a deluge all at once. Drowning the plant would not do, and would be cruel. After the water was distributed Sera did an offhanded waving motion and the sphere disappeared with a sparking after affect.
With the glass plant now in its new home, Sera reached out and flicked a frond gently, hearing the familiar chime noises, her own ears picking up the harmonics through her quadrascopic senses. It was a pleasant sound that reminded her of Puaza, and made her miss her home world even with the little time she had spent there. Resting on her calves in her squat, hands and arms crossed over her belly and resting in her lap, she simply sat and watched the plant, her head turning this way and that like a dog who heard a funny noise, trying to see if this new home would benefit the plant or be detrimental. As she watched, and would flick a frond every once in a while, Sera noticed a strange colored 'sand', which seemed to be moving towards the plant within the other soil. Again, with her face switching angles this way and that, she noted that the sand would change colors, like the carapace on a beetle. Curious, and seeing this sand was heading for the glass plant, she reached out to touch it. Nothing happened, really, and as the harmonics stopped from the plant, the sand would also halt its course. So, instead of touching the sand Sera tapped a frond. As the frond chimed and reverberated with its unique harmonics the sand started to move towards it again. Curious.
Using Eldritch Magick Sera swept it through the soil where the sand was, picking up every single grain and pulling it from the turf, bringing it into her hand with palm up. Within the magic the sand roiled and continued to change colors as the light sources hit it from various angles, but it seemed to thoroughly enjoy being within the Eldritch energy and even settled down in her palm. Dispersing the magick to see what would happen, Sera watched closely. The sand, now free of the energy source, began to trek up her arm as a whole, covering her forearm in itself from wrist to elbow, giving a tingly, tickling sensation to her flesh which caused the adolescent Puazi to giggle with joy. She had no idea that Starfleet had such magick sand in its possession and it thrilled her to have found it. With the arm not covered in 'sand' Sera pulled a pouch off her belt and created a marble of Eldritch energy, keeping it going as she dropped it into the pouch and then put her sand covered arm near to the opening. The sand immediately began to leave her arm and hand and went straight into the pouch to be near to the energy she had created. Closing and sealing the pouch, Sera then flicked the plant one more time in joy, hearing the chiming as she left the shrubs and went back out onto the grassy area.
In her happiness and joy at finding the sand, Sera began to do a little kookie dance to the rhythm of The Beatles; Help! As her mother had told her to, Sera had also been practicing using her Eldritch Magick, to strengthen her bond with the energies. Being one who had watched numerous films from Earth history, and found one subset to be very interesting, Sera raised her hand in a Spiderman pose, a 'web' of Eldritch Magick shooting forth like she had seen in the films. It splayed open like a real web as it came to a wall, adhering as it should, allowing Sera to ascend by it to the second level. Once she let go on arrival the web simply disappeared. She was still working on her hands and feet to be able to actually climb, but with practice she was sure she would accomplish that at some point. For now, she would show people her magick sand and how awesome it was.
