Lieutenant Zolon was going over some reports when a message came in from Commander Green; Cass opened the message and read the contents then smiled to herself.

Not only being great Scientific Research...the fact of the locals being naked was a plus; it reminded her of a ceremony on Haven. Every spring there would be a weeklong celebration of the season and everyone would shed their clothes for the entire week.

Thinking for a few moments, it may be beneficial to have another Scientist along. Tapping her Comm "Lieutenant Hunt please report to the CSO's Office" she ordered wondering how he would react to the opportunity.

Armen walked in with his usual humor "What's up Boss, please don't tell me I screwed up" he commented with a smirk knowing full well he hadn't done anything wrong.

"Have a seat Lieutenant, there's a mission I was wondering if you would be interested in participating" Cass stated trying not to grin as she proceeded to explain the away mission then finished with "There's one catch.....the locals are nude at all times and I'll probably will follow suit but you have the option. So what do you think."

A big smile came across Armen's face "Count me in....the chance to discover a whale type mammal or two would be amazing" he replied not telling her he wouldn't mind seeing her nude....I mean who wouldn't; then he added "And for the record I have no problem going naked in front of strangers" as he chuckled.

"Good, I'll let Commander Green know. Meet me in the Shuttle Bay in one hour. Also you'll want to bring a small bag for a Tricorder and your clothes for obvious reasons" she ordered with a grin as Hunt turned and left for the Lab.

After sending word to the Commander, Cass made arrangements for a Shuttle with a pilot who was certified for underwater exploration.

[Hour Later]

Cassandra walked into the Shuttle Bay dressed in a pair of Khaki shorts and top carrying a small bag with a few pieces of equipment. Looking up she noticed Armen leaning against the Shuttle chatting it up with the Pilot. Zolon smiled "Ensign you have underwater experience I presume" she queried.

"Yes Lieutenant I am" he stated "Also Mr. Hunt informed me about the inhabitant's attire or lack of " he replied "I'm fine with the situation. So if you're all set we'll get underway" Armen and Cass climbed aboard and grabbed their seats.

After a preflight check the Ensign ask for clearance and soon they headed towards the Planet with the coordinates that Ro had provided.

As the Shuttle set down on the island, Cass walked to the back and stripped down to her 'birthday suit' as Armen glanced over. She smiled "Lieutenant you can pick your tongue up from the deck anytime" she whispered so not to heard by the Pilot who kept his eyes forward fiddling with the controls.

Armen couldn't believe this body....very long toned legs and more than ample bosoms to boot. He rose from his seat and walked to the back "Sorry Cass, but I wasn't expecting seeing such a nice body" he whispered with a slight chuckle "If going nude is good enough for you...." then he stripped down as well. Both Officers grabbed their bags and left the Shuttle.

Cassandra looked up seeing Ro standing with a few men as they walked up "Commander Green thanks for this opportunity" she stated noticing her present attire fit right in with everyone else's.

Green, upon hearing her name and then seeing who it was, broke into a big smile and came over. "Welcome, Cass. Mister Hunt. As you can see," she motioned up and down her own naked form. "Go with the flow." Ro had beamed back down after returning Euphrates to the ship and seeing Doctor Long about her 'condition'. "This is Dwight Bachman, current Governor of Midora III, and this fine looking gentleman is Doctor Nigel Cameron, a biologist and geologist. Gentlemen, this is Cassandra Zolon, Chief Science Officer, and one of her esteemed colleagues and science officers, Lieutenant Armen Hunt."

Dwight and Nigel stepped in and shook hands, giving their greetings to the two newcomers. And, yes, both fine examples of masculinity were in the nude.

Hunt couldn't help but notice the fine form of the Commander, which was starting to be noticeable, when Cass reached over and pinched his arm. He smiled and shook hands with the two gentlemen "Sirs, very nice to meet you" he replied then rubbed his arm afterwards.

Cassandra could somehow sense some sort of connection between Ro and Dwight. Shaking hands with him first "Governor it's a pleasure to meet you" she said with a smile then looked at Cameron "Doctor it's a pleasure to meet you as well" she said with a smile letting her hand linger in his for a moment noticing just how handsome he was from head to toe.

Nigel gave a laugh and grinned seductively at Zolon. "The pleasure is mine, Cassandra. I may have to join Starfleet if all science officers are this exquisite. Please, make yourselves at home and feel free to look at what we have gathered over the years. The data is spread out among the kiosks and the scientists are always willing to share their knowledge." He had said all that while he still had her hand in his, and once he was finished speaking he lifted her hand and kissed the knuckles like a true gentleman. He released her hand with a smile.

"You old smoothy," said Dwight, chuckling.

Green also gave a giggle, then gave Dwight a warm kiss before wrapping an arm around his waist and leaning into him. "We did go out in the runabout as a submarine, looking to locate the sounds we keep hearing. But, every time we went to where it was coming from, it stopped and there was nothing there. My opinion is that if it is a creature of some kind, and intelligent, it chooses to remain hidden and aloof."

"I agree with that assessment," said Cameron. "Like the octopus and squid of Earth. They are flighty, and tend to try and avoid contact or being seen. So, I feel this creature, whatever it is, may have the same defensive response to detection. We don't even know if it is an air breather or has gills."

Cassandra was still a tiny bit flustered by Cameron's gesture when she notice a sideways look from Armen as she whispered " What?" of course he chose to keep his mouth shut for once. Then Cass spoke up "If I was to wager a bet on whatever's out there I would go with air breather and it would be rather large" she commented then went on "It would need a large lung capacity to make a sound to travel a great distance; although that's just a theory of course."

Green released herself from Bachman and gave a few nods. "Makes sense. Maybe along the size of say, a Sperm whale, or even a Blue whale. The Sperm whale is a deep diver with quite the lung capacity. Perhaps, like them, this animal is hunting some unknown meal hiding in the depths and why it keeps moving around."

Cameron gazed into Zolon's eyes as he spoke, showing his interest beyond science, but then covered it well by letting them go back to normal and back to the discussion. "I hadn't considered that, Ro. More pieces falling into place for answers. A puzzle I would truly love to solve." His eyes had come back to Zolon, with interest, when speaking of puzzles.

"Well," Dwight said. "We shall let you science types have at it then. Not my area of expertise."

"Nor mine," admitted Green. "Just because I read a lot and know certain things doesn't make me an expert. The shuttle is also capable of submersible travel, Nigel. I'm sure Miss Zolon would accommodate you if you ask." Green met Cass's eyes as she could see and feel the interest the woman had in Cameron. Not overt, but a subtle nuance. After all, if Dwight had not come along Green would make a play for the Doctor herself, he was quite the hottie. She was aiding a fellow woman with a possible conquest.

Cassandra watched Ro and Dwight walk off then turned to the Doctor "Well how about it Cameron....would you like to take a ride under the sea....my Pilot is fully qualified" she commented with a smile as she watched Armen out of the corner of her eye.

The Doctor thought for a minute then looked over at Armen then back to Cass "As much as would I thoroughly enjoy spending more time with you Cassandra, and maybe spot whatever is making those sounds, I'm afraid today is not the day for such an adventure "he replied "But I would love to show you some of our science discoveries....I promise you won't be disappointed."

"I'd love to see what your Scientists have found" Cass replied then looked at Armen "Would you care to join us?"

"No Lieutenant I think I'll go back to the Shuttle and wait until you're finished.....besides I think all this sun on my buck naked body is starting to wear on me" he stated seeing this new spark in her eyes and he didn't want to be a third wheel.

"No problem Mr. Hunt the sun has that effect on you when you're not used to it" he explained then looked at Cass "Shall we" as he placed her hand on his arm and walked off.

When Green and Dwight got a distance away, looking to have a swim together, Ro looked back at the pair of scientists, her own officer and Nigel. "Seems they will get along famously."

Dwight gave her a smile. "I'm sure they will. Nigel is quite the ladies man but always a proper host. When one talks to people in the nude there seems little left to hide."

"Come on, I need a swim. It'll be good exercise." The two of them went about their business and spending time together.

Cassandra and Cameron spent the next couple of hours looking over all the different sciences, laughing, and chatting along the way. When they were finished Cass looked at this lovely hunk of a man "Cameron thank you for your friendship and hospitality" then she paused "But I'm afraid it's time for me to get back to my Ship" she stated knowing if she didn't leave now she probably wouldn't.

The Doctor was a little surprised by her statement "Cassandra I thought maybe you'd spend the evening with me" as he moved closer and placed his hand one the small of her back not wanting to take liberties until told to do so. "I mean I thought there is an attraction here or am I wrong."

Cass smiled "There is an attraction, but there is a saying....just because you can doesn't mean you should" she replied then gave him a very nice kiss "I should be going" then Cass turned and headed back towards the Shuttle before she changed her mind.

Walking back and boarding the Shuttle she noticed Armen sitting there like a lump and looking straight ahead "Ok what's up with you Lieutenant" she queried grabbing her clothes to get dressed "Last chance to see me naked" as she chuckled and dressed.

Armen couldn't help himself so her took one last look at that gorgeous body of hers "So how was your date with Doctor Wonderfull" he whispered in a pissy tone."

Cass dressed then sat down next to him "To answer your question Mr. Hunt....first of all is wasn't a date.....second of all yes there was an attraction there but nothing happened other than looking at some incredible Science" she explained with a grin.

After a few moments of awkward silence Aren looked at Cass "Really....you didn't...umm....shag the Doctor" he asked being quite relieved to hear that.

"No I did not!" Cass responded "Armen I do believe you're jealous" as she grinned then placing her hand on his leg.

"Maybe just a little; after all he was a pretty good looking dude" he commented with a chuckle.

"As much as I wanted to, as you put it, shag him I thought I would most likely scare the crap out of him and it wasn't worth the bother" Cass said matter of factly.

Armen gave her a confused look "And just how would you scare the crap out of anyone.....I mean look at you".

Cassandra smiled "Tell you what you take me out for that dinner and I'll explain everything to you" she explained thinking that a romp with this guy wouldn't be such a bad thing....after all he was kind of sexy naked.

"You have yourself a deal.....tomorrow night at eighteen hundred, if you're free, and I'll meet you in the Lounge for dinner" he answered wearing a big smile.

"You've got yourself a date" Cass replied and a few minutes later the Shuttle landed back aboard the Amandora.
