Location: main shuttlebay
Timeline: current
ON:
Green stood to Kirk's right, in the main shuttlebay, both of them watching the runabout land that had been sent out by Starfleet Intelligence. After a stellar landing, and the red line around the shuttle dispersed, the port hatch opened and the stairway dropped as two officers stepped down. Ro noted their eyes dance to collars to determine who was who.
"Commander Green, I presume?" The young, fit lieutenant extended a hand which Ro shook in a friendly manner.
"Correct. Lieutenant Davies? This is Lieutenant Kirk, and that is her only bag." Green chinned towards the duffle sitting on the deck.
Davis gave a grin. "Well, we got sidetracked on our way out. Hence, why we're a bit late. We picked up another officer heading for Amandora who, thankfully, wasn't too far off course." He turned halfway to look back. "Lieutenant-Doctor Sheyla, please step off the runabout."
The Andorian woman stepped down to the Amandora's deck plates, brushing her bangs back a bit as she approached Ro and the other officer, both in red. "Commander Green, good to finally meet you in person." She shook hands. "Vid-chats just don't catch the ambience, ya know?"
"I tend to agree," said Green, shaking hands. "Welcome aboard the Amandora, Doctor Sheyla." She then turned to Kirk, and did not shake hands. "I don't know what you did with my Jamie, but I can never forgive you for whatever happened to her. If I never see you again it will be too soon. Maybe these folks can find a use for you. Dismissed, Lieutenant Kirk."
Sheyla did not miss the vehemence hidden behind those crisp words, spoken in a low tone so the whole shuttle bay could not hear, but those close by could. Note to self, thought Sheyla, stay on Green's good side.
Ro motioned for Sheyla to get in step with her and then she summarily left the area without another word to Kirk or those who came to pick her up. It was time to get the new Lieutenant to her quarters so she could meet the others in the line upwards.
