After checking on Amber and making sure she was okay Alesha sent word to Captain Ferguson to meet her in the hanger bay for a ride in her fighter. Alesha changed into her flight suit. Walking into the fighter bay and over to her fighter Alesha keyed in her access codes, and palmed the button causing the ladder to appear. Climbing up she raised the canopy and raised the rear seat so the captain could sit behind her.

Virgil was in his quarters showering when he received Alesha`s message and he answered with an "On my way", after that he put on his flight suit and proceeded to the hangar where MCAPT Rivers Bird was. Once he arrived he walked to it and shouted to her "Good to see you, please walk me through the process"

"There's not much difference between ships fighters and mine. Flight checks are pretty much the same," she handed him a PADD "This is the flight check I run on my fighter, the only differences are the mini torpedoes it carries, the cloak, and the targeting computer. I did reset the rear seat monitor to Federation Standard so you can see everything. Once we return to the ship I'll switch it back to the Amazon Language. As I said earlier I don't cloak without a valid reason and once cloaked the shields won't work. It can fire cloaked as well. So climb aboard and have a seat." Alesha said, "Then I'll run the flight check which only takes a few minutes."

Virgil climbed in and looked at all the instruments and as she said they were on federation standard, he said out loud "Lead the way I can't wait to fly in this bird"

Alesha didn't need to be asked twice, any chance she had to take her or any fighter out was what she had trained for. Climbing aboard and taking her seat, she put her helmet on, closed the canopy, and brought the systems online. Ran the flight check. "All systems go, cloak is on standby as are weapons." strapping in Alesha radioed the bridge for permission to launch. Once clearance was given she fired the thrusters, lifted off, and maneuvered the fighter toward the open bay door. "Here we go captain," Alesha said as they headed into space. Banking to port Alesha fired the main engines and headed out into space keeping a lock on the Amandora.

Virgil took his seat on the fighter and watched as Alesha performed all the clearance checks as mere routine and he made a note to himself on how well she did it. As she took the fighter out he waited a few seconds before he said "I'd love to see how the cloak works"

After receiving permission to cloak it, Alesha sent a message to Amandora indicating she was going to cloak her fighter on a test flight. "Engaging cloak," Alesha engaged the fighter's cloak, and an indicator light reminded them that the shields didn't work. "And we're cloaked, we have no shields, but I can fire cloaked and I can keep enemy craft at bay as they cannot lock onto me."

"This is gonna be a hell of an asset", answered Virgil

"Just remember I don't cloak without a good reason," Alesha reminded him as she pulled a few more maneuvers to show what her fighter was able to do.

"Of course, we need to be careful with a cloaking device", It's not that we should break a treaty to defend our ship.

"Agreed," Alesha responded "I'm dropping the cloak," tapping a command the cloak was dropped "Any questions captain?"

"None, Let's get ourselves Back onboard", answered Virgil.

"Returning to the Amandora," Alesha said banking the fighter and headed for the Amandora. After getting permission to land she cut the engines to thrusters only and flew into the hanger bay and over to where the fighter was kept and shut down the engines. Raising the canopy she climbed out and waited for Virgil to climb down. "Well what do you think of this fighter and my flying skills and be honest."

"Outstanding, in both cases", answered Virgil

"Thank you captain," Alesha said as she set the alarms on the fighter. "I learned to fly sitting on my dad's lap back home. Is there anything you think I need to work on and do you have any questions for me?"

"That will be all for now, If I think of any questions I´ll let you know", answered Virgil still mesmerized from the experience "DISMISSED!"

Alesha nodded, gave her fighter a final look and headed out.
