With the ship’s systems back on line and things starting to warm up Kristian turned to her assistant “Dr. Enja I’m going to check on the commodore take over for me and I’ll be back as quickly as I can.” Seeing her nod Kristian headed out.

It took only a short time to make her way to the bridge, while she was command rated and was permitted on the bridge as the CMO it still made her a little nervous. Stepping off the lift Kristian stopped and looked around at the officers as they went about his or her duties. Cyndi was in her seat with a stack of PADD’s.

Walking over Kristian dropped into the seat usually reserved for the second officer “How are you doing?”

Cyndi looked over as the CMO took a seat next to her and set the PADD’s aside “Now that things are back to normal, save for a few glitches and one big glitch I’m okay.”

“You sure?”Kristian asked “Let’s go talk.”she got to her feet.

Cyndi nodded and led the way into her ready room “What’s this about Kristian?”

“Command fitness commodore. The Amandora being stolen, destroyed, lives lost, your, mentor Admiral Snow being charged with the takeover of the star base. Paul taking command of it and your daughter and son choosing to stay with him. You’ve been through the ringer,” Kristian said

“And if you recall I did go home to Klavor for a few months,” Cyndi replied

Kristian nodded “I know and your heir to the Klavorian throne just like my cousin is to Amzock’s throne. Cyndi, just because you went home does not mean that you got the rest and unwinding you needed.”

Cyndi sighed “I’m missing Paul and my kids. It’s the first time in several years that we’ve been separated.”

“I understand that one Cyndi, but you’re the one in command of this ship and your no good to your officer’s and crew if you collapse on us because you’re tired,”Kristian said

“I promise I’ll get some rest, is it that obvious?” Cyndi asked

“No, I saw it when I came onto the bridge only because I’ve served under your command for a few years,” Kristian said “The ship’s systems are back online so take a few hours and get some rest.”

“I’ll go to my quarters and unwind.” Cyndi assured her

“This conversation didn’t happen,” Kristian said “This time. Now I need to get back to sick bay and you’re going to get some rest.” With that Kristian headed out and back to sick bay.
