Cyndi had watched Kalina as she backed the Amandora out of space dock and into space traffic. Once things were clear the ship had jumped smoothly to warp. So far so good as Cyndi knew a brand new ship was bound to have a few issues. This ship was so new it even smelled new. Part of her was excited on having a brand new ship to break in but on the other hand Paul had been at her side for a few years. Now he was back on active duty and in command of Star Base Danvers and Piper and Brent had chosen to stay with Paul.

Cyndi had heard the conversation between Herculoid and the operations chief on the glitch in the science console and was glad the repair was an easy one. So far a new ship with no glitches was good, but Cyndi also knew that wouldn’t last long. New ships were bound to have problems. Cyndi was eager to get into the new patrol sector but that would wait until she had a chance to see how the ship preformed first.
