Post Number 2 Getting Underway

Cyndi stepped onto the bridge and took her seat, her yeoman handed her a stack of PADDS that required her attention. The first report she saw was the science chief had taken a sudden leave of absence. No reason was given. Puzzled that Lieutenant Sabbath would leave without informing her was odd and not like the lieutenant at all. Lieutenant Herculoid being the assistant chief science officer would automatically take over in science.

Leaning back in her seat, it was time to get underway and see what more this new sector of space had in store for them. “Lieutenant Johnson take us out of orbit and set course deeper into this sector of space. Ahead warp three.”

Turning to science, Tara was already on the bridge “Lieutenant Herculoid scan the sector ahead of us and report on any planets in our flight path. I’m also sure you’ve heard where Lieutenant Sabbath has taken a leave of absence. Until he returns your in charge of science,” Cyndi informed her

Tara nodded “I saw his missive, he gave no reason for it,” Tara replied “I’ll have my report to you from the planet’s cave by the end of the day.”

“I look forward to reading it,” Cyndi replied as she tapped her com-badge “Lieutenant Montgomery stats report on engineering. We’re heading deeper into this new sector of space, I need to be ready for anything I get us into,”

Hearing the bridge doors open Cyndi looked over just as Smithers and Grainger step onto the Bridge, “Lieutenant Smithers and Grainger I need one of you to assist Lieutenant Herculoid and take over at the secondary science station. We’re heading deeper into this sector of space, she’s running scans on the area ahead of her. Please assist her and report any findings to her.”

Cyndi tapped her com-badge “Commander Parker we’re underway please report to the bridge,”
