Lieutenant James McTavish had just beamed over to the USS Amandora from the Dunkirk with only his duffle in hand. The rest of their possessions would arrive with his wife, Heather, at a later date.

Equipped with PADD in hand he made his way to Deck 5 to his Quarters which would later become their Quarters as soon as his Wife arrived. One of the perks of being on a Galaxy Class Starship was that his residence was on the same deck as most of the Science Labs which would make life much easier.

James keyed in the security code, which was given him upon his arrival, and made his way into his new home. Looking around he was very impressed not only with the amount of room, but also the quality of the furnishings. He knew that Heather would be ecstatic with having such a nice place to live.

After dropping his duffle he walked around noticing a big living room with a couch, table, and a couple of chairs, and even an area for his collectables. The accommodations had a small kitchen, which is perfect for two people, with a table and chairs. There were two bedrooms, the smaller of which would undoubtably be used as storage or an office for Heather. Also there was a very nice rest room with all the amenities. James knew that he and Heather would be very happy here; that is once she was on board...which he was hoping would be soon.

James sat on the couch for a few minutes to rest. He was thinking about what the Amandora's upcoming mission was going to be like as Captain Alexander, from the Dunkirk, had briefed him somewhat; but not knowing how he would fit in to said mission. He couldn't help to be saddened at the thought of all those lost souls. At least they had been found and would be brought home to their loved ones.

While emptying his duffle into the dresser drawers, James decided that perhaps he should see if the Commodore was available for a quick meeting to answer a couple of protocol questions; also he probably should meet his new boss at the very least.
