[Bio Lab]

Lieutenant Heather McTavish was working in the Bio Lab when her Comm went off “ Lieutenant McTavish this is the other McTavish, just to let you know I've been called into a meeting so I'll be tied up for awhile.” said a familiar voice.

“Is there anything work related that you want me to take care of or check on while your tied up since Lieutenant Herculoid is off Ship?”

“ As far as work goes...nothing that I can think of; but if something does come up please handle it for me. I'll fill you in on the details about the meeting tonight, McTavish out” James responded.

Heather started to worry about this sudden meeting then decided that maybe she should try to concentrate on her work and try not to think about what James was doing. So she went back to work wondering when Lieutenant Herculoid would be returning from the away mission because it had been a few days since she had left. Of course when she returned a lot of work would be coming with her; which was fine because Heather liked to keep busy.

After awhile Heather's mind went back to James' call and as hard as she tried, she couldn't help but worry about what was going on; hopefully James wasn't in any sort of trouble.

When it was getting towards the end of her shift, Heather was still thinking about what her husband was up to. She wondered if he had worried about her when she was suddenly called to a meeting; he did sound kind of off when he called. Knowing how much James loves her, she pretty much figured he felt the same way. I mean he was beside himself when Heather surprised him when she came aboard the Amandora, which suddenly put a smile on her face.

Now that her shift was over Heather made her way back to their Quarters and would wait for James to arrive to explain things to her.

When Heather arrived back home she went into the bedroom to change out of her uniform into something way more comfortable. Then she poured herself an Irish Whiskey and made her way out into the living room and sat on the couch waiting for James.

After taking a big sip of her drink, she thought to herself “I really needed that” as she proceeded to finish off the glass of whiskey and sat the glass down on the table. Now she would wait for her loving husband to return home.
