Post Number 95 Sayfing Goodbye To Savai

Mission: Planet Savai
Location: Shuttle Bay and Bridge
Timeline: Current

OFF:

This will end the current mission. We’ll go into character development for a few days while I work up a new mission.

ON:

Cyndi escorted Ambassador Kodos to the shuttle bay where a shuttle from Star Base Mercury was waiting. “Ambassador we’re a very long way from where the star base is currently. You’re in for a long ride so relax and enjoy the ride. You think the ship is big wait until you see a star base, it’s like a city in space.”

Stepping back as Kodos boarded the shuttle, the bay de-pressurized and the shuttle lifted off and headed out into space. Turning Cyndi headed for the bridge it was time to get underway. The planet and it’s people had proven to be interesting, the data would take time to go over. This was a matter now for the diplomats to handle and see if Savai was worthy of joining the Federation. The ancient city discovered by Doctor Long was indeed interesting especially the age of it and the different cultures that reports indicated that had built some of the structures. Klingon, Romulan, Ferengai even a couple from a Earth. Commander Raymond had mentioned in his report about a species called Corgii but they had not built the structures that Long had found and Lieutenants Herculoid and Kees had been there as well. The samples brought back proved things there were hundreds of years old.

Exiting the lift Cyndi stepped onto the bridge and took her seat at command after accepting some PADD’s from her yeoman. “Helm break orbit we’ve done all we can here, take us out of this system and set course 5219 Mark 9,”

“Breaking orbit and setting course sir,” helm responded

“When clear of the system engage warp drive and accelerate to warp 4,” Cyndi ordered as she leaned back in her seat. It had been a long mission and had resulted in one officer being taken hostage, one injured and another finding love on the planet, love with the very ambassador who had just left. Herculoid and Long could have both been killed, Kees finding and losing love so fast was something she’d have to deal with on her own and perhaps be careful about falling for love on an alien world so quickly as star ships didn’t stay around alien planets long enough to really get to know someone.

The Amandora exited the system and jumped smoothly to warp and onto her next adventure.
