[Quarters]

James and Heather had just finished breakfast and were cleaning up the kitchen when she turned to him “What do you want to do today” she asked.

James just grinned “Funny you should ask, I took the liberty of reserving a Holo Suite for around thirteen hundred hours for us to enjoy for awhile; sort of a surprise” he explained.

Heather had an excited look on her face “That sounds like fun....what are we going to be doing” she inquired.

“Oh no you don't....if I tell you then it wouldn't be much of a surprise now would it” he responded with a chuckle.

“Ok.....I'll wait.....can you give me a hint at least” came the reply.

“Sure....dress casual.....and that's about all you going to get out of me” James said with a grin knowing full well that she was going to love it.

A few hours later they were dressed ready to go and James went out into the kitchen and grabbed a basket of munchies that he had put together while Heather was getting ready.

As they were leaving she ask what was in the basket and he told her something to snack on while they were in the Holo Suite.

When they arrived at the Suite, exactly on time, James made his request “Computer initiate McTavish zero four.”

“Acknowledged, initiating McTavish zero four” then the doors slid open and they walked inside.

Heather looked around quite stunned as she turned to James “Is this what I think it is” Heather asked.

With a big smile on his face he answered “Yes it is....it's Drogheda, Ireland where you grew up. I had the Computer Tech make up the program from how you had described it to me and from what I could remember....was I close.”

Heather was seeing beautiful rolling grassy green hills and cows off in the distance. The sun was shinning brightly with a slight breeze blowing and when she turned around she could see the Cottage that she had lived in growing up. She turned to James with a tear in her eye “This is almost perfect...thank you so much for this....I had forgotten just how beautiful it is here” then Heather gave James a very passionate kiss.

“You are so very welcome sweetheart; I thought you might like to see it again. I know it's not the real thing but I thought you might enjoy it anyway” James replied then gave her a kiss “Let's go over to that tree....I brought some munchies and a bottle of wine with us.” So they made their way over to a big shade tree, then James spread out a blanket and they sat as he emptied the contents of the basket.

James uncorked the wine and poured a glass for each of them. He had packed some Swiss cheese, Ham, and some homemade bread along with some grapes. He also included that spicy mustard that Heather loved so much.

As Heather was eating she commented “You thought of everything....I'm impressed”

“Of course.....nothing but the best for my favorite girl” he said with a grin.

So they ate their food while talking and laughing about their past together as a couple. Then James had a thought “Heather lets look on the backside of this tree shall we.”

They got up and walked to the backside of the tree together holding hands “Look.....our initials are still here” he said. James had remembered the tree and how they had carved their initials into it while they were dating; even though this wasn't the actual tree it was still a nice memory to share with each other.

“Oh my gosh....they're still here” she replied then a sad look came over her face “I wonder if our initials are really still in the actual tree.”

James took Heather in his arms and gave her a kiss “Someday we'll go back and check; I promise” then he continued “We haven't had much of any shore leave since we've been married so we should have a decent amount of time off built up.”

Heather looked at James “Yes, I'd like that sometime in the not too distant future” she replied. They went back and sat on the blanket sipping their wine and just enjoying their surroundings.

It was almost sixteen hundred hours and their time was just about up, so they packed up everything and left for home. “Did you enjoy yourself sweetheart” James asked.

“Yes....very much.....I'd like to do this again sometime....only next time let's visit Inverness and see your home that you grew up in” Heather suggested.

“Sounds like a good idea....I'll have the Tech start on the simulation soon” he answered. They made their way back to their quarters after enjoying a very nice afternoon.

[Quarters]

After they arrived back home they sat on the couch sipping a drink and listening to some of Heather's favorite music for awhile. Then Heather looked at James “I think I'm going to take a shower; would you like to come with” she asked.

Not saying a word James got up off the couch and followed his wife. Their shower lasted for quite a long time since showering wasn't the only thing on their minds. When they had finished they dried off and James made a dash for the bed and sort of jumped onto it waiting for his lovely wife.

After Heather had dried off she put on a silk robe which she left untied; she thought that James had left the bathroom in a hurry and wondered what he could be up to. Then she went into the bedroom only to see him laying on the bed in his birthday suit.

Heather just smiled “And what's on your mind Mr. McTavish”

James had a big grin on his face “Waltz over here with that sexy body of yours Mrs. McTavish and I'll show you what's on my mind.” So Heather removed the robe and joined her husband on the bed.

Soon they were kissing very passionately as he began caressing her breast which she absolutely adored and he enjoyed also. After several minutes Heather's hand went slowly south of the border; then things got serious for the next few hours.

Later they were snuggled up together when Heather looked at James “Thank you.....this has been a wonderful day” then gave him a kiss.

“Your welcome.....and yes it has been the wonderful day” then they drifted off to sleep each being very happy about the day that they had just spent together.
