Location: Earth In A Tree House
Timeline: Current

Cyndi walked into her quarters after updating the ships systems and putting Kahn in as first officer.
Paul had booked a hotel room on Earth, in a Tree House hotel and had packed their bags for a few days. Hearing the door open he looked up to see Cyndi walk in. Going to her he pulled her into an embrace and kissed her. “I was beginning to wonder what you looked like,” he teased when the kiss broke. Go change, I’ve booked us a room in a tree house on earth.”
“That sounds like heaven, give me five minutes to change,” Cyndi said laying her phaser on the counter and headed for the bedroom. Returning a few minutes later, picked up her phaser and holstering it.
Paul shouldered the duffel bags, took Cyndi’s hand and led her from their quarters, ten minutes later Paul landed the shuttle at the foot of a fifty foot Maple Tree. Shutting down the shuttle they exited the shuttle and took a elevator up to the tree house.
Cyndi walked in and looked around, there were no walls, only railings that were waist high. Above there was a canopy of leaves. “Paul this is breathtaking.”
“Wait until you see the rest of it,” Paul said taking her hand as he led her around the rooms. The bedroom had a two person hammock that would say as the tree swayed, the bathroom had a large walk in shower with a waterfall shower. The kitchen contained a small fridge, a cook top for a stove and outside was a table that overlooked the forest. The lights are solar powered “So what do you think?”
“Paul I love it,” Cyndi said wrapping her arms around his neck and kissed him
“You need this, I’ve ordered dinner and it will be here any minute,” Pau replied

Later dinner was over which consisted of coconut shrimp, rolls, salad and a bottle of wine. Cyndi and Paul were relaxing on the porch. The sun had set and the night sounds of the forest could be heard, lightening bugs could be seen flying around, crickets making their own music, off in the distance an owl hooted and someplace they could hear the gentle lapping of a small lake.
“I could get used to this,” Cyndi commented snuggling against Paul as she drifted off to sleep
Kissing the top of her head Paul took the wine glass and set it on the table, shifting carefully so he’d not wake her Paul picked Cyndi up and carried her to the bedroom, laid her in the hammock and carefully removed her clothes. Pulling a blanket over her he cleaned up from supper and then joined his wife, pulled her close and soon fell asleep.”
