Please remember who is on your team, I’m looking forward to seeing how this mission plays out. Remember to that everyone will not be together, Each team will be but the away team will be going to different locations.

ON:

The away team was in sick bay getting altered to pass as Cardassians and each team would be beamed down to a different location as there were several different settlements on the planet and the cover for them would be they are going to be relocating to the different settlements. Lieutenant McTavish had made several good points regarding the harsh conditions on the planet when it came to the heat, water and the heavy rains that could come and last only a matter of minutes.

Once the ship settled into orbit and to transporter range Cyndi walked over to the science station as both science officers were in sick bay getting ready for the away team, switching on the sensors Cyndi scanned the planet and nodded the science chief was right on target with his assessment of the planet. It was indeed going to be harsh yet these people had managed to survive here despite the conditions. Switching the sensors back to space Cyndi narrowed the beams and began to scan very carefully and detailed to make sure there were no ships lurking that could harm her people. Even though she knew as every commanding officer did that there were risks anytime an away team was assigned.

There was a large moon that drew her attention, switching the beams again Cyndi scanned the moon and grinned. It was uninhabited but could easily be colonized. She doubted anyone had bothered to check it out. The Jem Hadar were more interested in the hostages than they were anything else. Hearing the lift doors open she turned to see who had come onto the bridge, seeing a junior science officer Cyndi turned the science station over to him with clear orders to keep her apprised of any thing that did not look right and to keep an eye out for a Jem Hadar ship.
