James was running a little behind schedule since trying to dress in this ridiculous Cardassian attire was time consuming. When he was all set he walked out into the living room to be greeted by his Wife.

Heather looked at James and started to laugh "I'm sorry sweetheart but you look a little ridiculous in that outfit."

James just gave her a look "Go ahead....yuk it up if you must" then he started to laugh as well "Thank the Creator I don't have to dress like this all the time" he commented then went to a hidden drawer at the desk a pulled out a modified type II phaser and tucked it under his frock.

Then turning to Heather "Sine both Tara and I are going to be off Ship, I guess that means you'll be minding the store while we're gone" James commented "And I know you'll do a fine job....It's not like you haven't done it before."

Heather walked up to James "I'll be fine....it's you I worry about."

"Don't worry about me....besides I'll be with an Amazon....you can't be any safer than that since she's no stranger to fighting or Cardassians" he replied trying to reassure Heather.

"I know....but I still worry about you when your off Ship" she stated trying to remain positive, then she looked James in the eyes "You come back to me safe.....or I'll be pissed" she said with a giggle.

"I will....I promise" then the two kissed for a few minutes then Heather whispered an old Irish blessing in James' ear which translates into "May the sun shine brightly upon your face...May the wind be at your back and may the hills rise up to greet you."

James nodded in agreement then turned and left for the Transporter Room....already starting to miss the 'girl of his dreams.' James shook his feelings off as he entered the Room.

The Operator greeted him "Good Morning Lieutenant, Lieutenant Herculoid already gave the the coordinates for you to beam down to" he stated. James stepped onto the pad, took a deep breath, then "Energize."

{Demora}

The next thing that James knew, he was on the Planet. Looking around James saw Tara a short ways away by a stone outcropping with a makeshift lab all set up. So he made his way over to her while noticing just how hot it was becoming. He also noticed that there was a good amount of succulent plants nearby which could provide water and food if need be. Taking out his Tri-corder he checked the humidity of the air.....only a couple of percent moisture present which made the heat a little more bearable.

When he was closer he made himself known so as not to get shot.... James figured Heather would be really upset if she knew James had been shot by friendly fire " Hi Tara....looks like you've been busy" he stated being quite impressed how much Tara had accomplished in such a short amount of time.
