With that she headed away from the village and back to the small cave where her makeshift lab was. Seeing James Tara smiled “You’re a sight for sore eyes. I had a long talk with two of the women and learned some interesting things. What have you found out?”

James smiled back "Nice to see your still in one piece Tara" he replied " One thing's for sure....these people are living in a constant nightmare. From the people I've talked to they had just as soon be dead rather than living here; which is deplorable, to say the least."

James grabbed a cup of water, then continued "People are being killed for stupid reasons by the Jem Hadar. An old man that I talked to watched his wife get beaten to death from one of those monsters just for tripping and spilling a cup of water."

After James finished his water and put the cup away "I also talked to a young women for awhile and she also rather be dead than live here any longer.....oh yes you were right the Jem Hadar are no longer using 'white' for their fix. Now they're using this plant" as he handed the sample to Tara "Which they distill and inject the byproduct directly into themselves. Now I'm no Biologist, but after using this for a long period of time could account for their blood being green. She also mentioned that after injection the Jem Hadar become quite hostile which they refer to as the 'rant' until it gets absorbed into their bodies. The young women gave me that plant sample, by the way, and at great risk to herself; they kill people for having that plant in their possession."

"So what did you find out after talking to the women from the village" James asked wondering if information would be the same.
