Tuning to Lia who was watching everything that was going on and not daring to say a word "Drop by my quarters this evening....we need to talk" he stated then turned to go have a word with Henry.

{Quarters}

Usher was sitting in his Room thinking about his current situation waiting for Lia to show up and hoping for the best after a conversation with her.

Lia had hurried to finish her duties, she was eager to talk to Usher about their future plans. Arriving at his quarters she didn’t bother to ring the chime, instead she simply walked straight in.

Seeing Lia walk into his quarters Usher smiled, stood up and walked over to her and simply said "First things first" then put his arms around her and proceeded to give her a long passionate kiss enjoying every moment "I've missed you."

Lia returned Usher’s kiss with passion. “I’ve missed you too. It’s been a long day not being here with you.”

Usher grinned and took Lia by the hand and sat on the bed together as he started to explain his plans which he hoped would include her as well.

Smiling Usher began "I've come to realize these past few weeks that my Mission is probably going to fail....I'm exhausted both physically and mentally. If I were to proceed with this there's a good chance I'm either be going to be killed or end up in prison for the rest of my life which I couldn't bear" he explained then continued "So here's my thought....after we sell the Princess for what I hope is a lot of money.....would you like to go with me to Tiburon which is a small but lovely planet in the Sierra Sector ; it's light years away from here" he explained hoping for the right answer.

Lia sat speechless this was a dream come true. “I would love to. I just wish we could cut our losses here and now! Why don’t we just put her on a shuttle with one of your men, send her far from here while we get away!”

Usher thought for a moment "As appealing as that sounds we're going to need the money to live on for awhile.....be patient Lia....tomorrow we'll sell off the Princess....then we'll be on our way to a new life together. Once we're on Tiburon I'll give the Ship to the Crew and they can go wherever they please" he replied.

Lia nodded. “What if her crew find us? I don’t want to lose you Usher! I love you, and I don’t know what I’d do without you.”

Usher just smiled as he was about to say something that he had not said to a women in a very, very long time "I love you too Lia and we'll be fine. Tomorrow at this time we'll be well on our way to start a new life together away from all this chaos."

Then Usher lay Lia down on the bed "So how about a preview of our new life together" he said with a smile as he proceeded to unbutton her top while kissing her with passion and purpose.

Sometime later that evening:

Lia lay contentedly in Troy’s embrace, he was the love of her life and right now she couldn’t see herself without him. “That was...amazing!” She smiled. “Why did I wait so long to tell you how I feel?”

Usher looked into her gorgeous eyes and smiled warmly "I wouldn't beat yourself up about it.....things have a tendency to happen when they're supposed to....and I for one am glad they did" then her gave Lia another tender kiss.

Lia returned his kiss and then smiled. “That’s so true. What do we do if her ship turns up in the meantime?”

Usher could see the worry in her eyes and could hear it in her voice so he did his best to console her "Don't worry my love, I have men keeping a close eye on the long range sensors around the clock....any hint of a Ship coming from their direction then we beat feet out of here....but I really don't think it'll be an issue" he replied as reassuringly as he could be "Why don't you relax, enjoy our time together, and get some sleep.....tomorrow this will be all over with and we can be on our way to a new life together."

Lia nodded. “I’m sorry, I worry too much I know I do!” She smiled as she leant in for a passionate kiss. “Time with you is what makes me happy. I intend to treasure every moment.”

"Lia no need to apologize.....I always want you to feel free to say or tell me anything that's on your mind" Usher commented in a soft voice "Since I've found you my life once again is worth living...thank you for that."

Then the two drifted off to sleep with Usher holding her dearly...tomorrow would be a very big day....for the both of them.
