After a very long briefing and discussions James went back to the Science Station only to get some bad news from the Ensign on duty "Lieutenant the SOS that was being transmitted near Glintok has stopped and it hasn't resumed" came the news.

James let out a long sigh "That's not good" he replied becoming quite worried for the Commodore's sake. Then a thought crossed his mind "If the SOS was discovered on the Ship and has been shut off....maybe she's on the planet now...of course that's a planet of slave traders."

Then he had an idea, if he could program the sensors to look for a specific bio signature....namely the Commodores....then he could scan the planet, now that they were close enough, and try to find her....but he was going to need help.

Tapping the Comm "Lieutenant Heather McTavish please report to the Bridge right away" came the request. Since Tara was going to be flying then Heather was well able to help out, even though she had just nicely returned to the Lab.

Soon the Lift doors swooshed open and Heather exited and walked over to the CSO "Lieutenant what's going on" Heather asked not really sure why James had summoned her to the Bridge.

Looking at Heather he started to explain "Tara's on an away mission trying to find the Commodore and I can't just sit around doing nothing. We've lost the SOS signal so she's probably on the planet now" he stated then continued "I thought that if we could set up the scanners to look for the Commodore's specific bio signature, then maybe we could locate her....but i'm going to need some help and that's where you come in."

Heather thought for a moment "James that just might work but it's going to take some time to scan the entire planet you know" she whispered "Tell me what you need and I'll help you.

James keyed in the bio signature in both Stations "Tell you what...I'll scan the southern half of the planet and you scan the northern...with any luck one of us will hopefully find the Commodore."

Heather smiled "Whatever you need Lieutenant" she commented then the two Science Officer went to work trying to find the Commodore.

After about five hours of searching the Commodore still had not been found when James commented "I think I'm going cross eyed here....why don't you go back to our Quarters and get something to eat and I'll keep searching then we can switch when you come back."

Heather nodded "Ya, I think I need a break too, I won't be long then you can go" she replied and left the Bridge. Wasn't long when she returned and James went and had something to eat as well.

When he returned the two continued their scans in earnest. After a couple more hours Heather looked over at James "I think I found her...come here and make sure I'm right" she stated as she knew James had a lot more experience at this sort of thing.

He stepped over to her Station and checked her findings "Heather, you've found the Commodore....make a note of the coordinates" he instructed.

Heather smiled "Way ahead of you...I've already done it" she replied.

James smiled back as he whispered "That's my girl" then tapping his Comm "Commander Kahn we've found the Commodore."
