James smiled back as he whispered "That's my girl" then tapping his Comm "Commander Kahn we've found the Commodore."

Sitting in the ready room, leaning back on the couch, Liza heard the report. Unless she was in the official capacity as Captain Kahn didn't find it appropriate to sit in Song's chair, behind the desk. All she sought in this room was isolation and serenity. It gave her time to think and to rest a bit. Sure, the crew were at work, hard as could be. But, most of them didn't realize the stress of being constantly responsible for every living soul on board. Once a Captain, you were a captain 24/7. That was the price for such an advancement in Starfleet. Sacrifice.

Shaking all that off Liza got to her feet and walked out of the Ready Room, going over to James and Heather. "Okay, Lieutenants McTavish's-ez." She gave a grin at her doubling of their name, knowing they were betrothed. "What have you found?"

James had to grin at Liza's pronunciation of their last names trying to make it plural "Long story short....we've placed the Commodore's bio signature into the scanners and were able to scan Glintock and have located the Commodore....here are the coordinates" James explained "If she stays put then finding her should be a simple matter....especially if she' injured."

"If your wife agrees, James, I owe you a kiss," stated Liza, her expression showing she was half serious and half joking. "That's perfect, thank you, both. Bjorgo is going down, as is Silk. Both have medical tricorders which are more fine-tuned to biological data. The needle in the haystack won't be so hard to find." Liza then looked at Heather and winked. "A kiss on the cheek, sister. Nothing more."

Heather looked at James and smiled then looked at Liza "Sure why not, I think he's earned it" then Heather stepped aside. Apparently James had no say in the matter so he just stood there being more than a little embarrassed.

Kahn watched the wife shrug and walk away. So, out of respect for her trust in her husband Liza took Jim's right hand in her own in a warrior's handshake. "You'll get a commendation for this, both of you. That's my kiss. Good job, Lieutenant. Relay this data, encoded, to Bjorgo and the away team." Liza turned from the pair and began to attend to the rest of the Bridge.

Besides being very grateful for the recognition by the CO, James was quite relieved not to have received an actual kiss from Liza.

Heather smiled at James "Looks like you got lucky on that one" she whispered then gave her usual playful giggle.
