Post 7. Informing the Commodore

Location: Ready Room

Having decided to speak to Cyndi together Ellie smiled nervously as she and Yova stood outside the Ready Room. Pressing the chime they waited for a response.

" I always cringe when we meet with her." Yova whispered

Cyndi set the PADD down she'd been reading glad for the ingterruption as she put the latest picture of her, Paul and their son on the shelf on the wall "Come in!"

Odac Yova entered first and held Ellie's hand as they entered.

" Hi Commodore we were told to come see you." Yova stated.

"Please have seats and tell me who told you to come see me," Cyndi replied

Yova waited for Ellie to sit then he did.
" We have news. My wife and I are with child or should I say children. We are having triplets. Dr Long saw three embryos." Yova replied.

"Triplets, that's surprising news to say the least. Knowing Doctor Long as well as I do, she probably double checked and ran a blood test too. So I take it your going to need bigger quarters? Ellie you do understand that I will not permit you to go on any away missions," Cyndi said

Ellie nodded. "I understand Commodore. To be honest this has come as quite a shock. I have always wanted children but I never imagined ... three!" She still looked somewhat stunned.

"I'm sure it's a lot to comprehend right now. Take a few days off, get used to the idea," Cyndi said turning to her computer, tapping a few keys she then looked at them "I have larger quarters, three doors down from where your at currently, it's a two bedroom that depending on what the babies will be, a partition can easily be put up to add a third bedroom."

"Thank you Commodore that would be wonderful" Ellie smiled as she looked towards Yova then back at Cyndi. "We'll get moved in as soon as we can."

"Ellie don't over do it," Cyndi warned "My husband is aboard and if you ask him I'm sure Paul would be more than willing to help."

Ellie nodded. "That's very kind of you Commodore, I may just take you up on that when it's needed. I guess we should be letting you get back to work ma'am."

"He'll love it, he likes to do things," Cyndi responded "I do have a pile of paper work to do from being gone and then being lazy on Klavor. Keep me posted on things."

"Yes Ma'am" Ellie smiled and nodded before motioning to Yova that they should head on their way.
