Post Number 8 Saying Goodbye To Klavor

After catching up on most of her reports it was time to say goodbye to Klavor and her parents and get underway. The ship had been in orbit of the planet for a month while she recovered from her ordeal. Getting up from her desk Cyndi walked onto the bridge to a loud chorus of welcome back. Thanking them Cyndi took her seat at command “Communications hail Klavor I need to speak to my parents.”

Tapping her com-badge “Lieutenant Yova bring the engines on line, stand by warp drive,”

“Commodore your on, I have the King,” communications announced

“On screen,” Cyndi ordered

“Cyndi, I take it you’re pulling out?” Drew asked

Cyndi nodded “I am, it’s time for me to get underway and back to work. I couldn’t leave without saying goodbye to you and mum and thank you again for the dinner and reception for my officers and crew. Give my son a hug for us,”

Drew nodded “I’ll do that and you’re welcome. It was the least we could do. God speed and stay safe. Come home more often it was good to see you.”

Her father closed the communication and the screen went to showing the planet and it’s rings.

Sighing as she missed home already.”Lieutenant Suvak break orbit, take us out and once clear of the solar system engage warp drive. Warp three, heading your discression,” Cyndi ordered leaning back in her seat as she thought over the news that one of her officers was expecting triplets. She was going to be busy once the babies arrived.
