Mission: Rescue On Romulus
Location: Sickbay
Timeline: current

ON:

After a few hours of absolute unconsciousness Kahn had done his internal healing to ease the pain and make Zenni's body more accepting. There would still be sore spots until hecomplete healing but it wasn't detrimental to movement and action. Zenni's eyes fluttered open and she stared up at the ceiling, squinting a bit at the harsh lighting. Her brain said Starfleet Sickbay with its sterile look and bright colors. But, not the Hubble, this must be the Amandora. Casting her glance around she noted she was still enclosed halfway in a steril capsule, which was totally unneccessary now. She didn't think that but she felt a mental nudge and that thought came to pass. She patted her belly, saying quietly to herself. "Easy, buddy. Let me adjust a bit first."

Without preamble she sat up, the hospital gown sliding down almost enough to bare her chest since it hadn't been tied. That was the last of her worries. But, as soon as she sat up the capsule's bioreaders started bleeping in various tones as she was lost to their sensors now.

Hearing all that Silk turned from a biobed he was restocking and saw the new Kahn sitting up in the capsule. He set his tools down and went over. "Hey, hey, easy now." He gave his best 'friendly guy' grin. He shut the scanners down. "Stay put for just a minute, please." He went and gathered a tricorder and a medkit. "Okay, let's get the scans done."

An attractive man never bothered Zenni, and really didn't now. "You're Sean silk, right?"

"That's the rumor," ha gave a smile. "Yes, Zenni, it is. Is it okay to call you by first name this early in our greeting?"

"I prefer it, believe me. What with all I have zooming around in my brain. Can I get dressed? You know, in a uniform?"

"Can I have ten minutes to make sure you should get up?"

"Sure," she said, then her eyes went wide staring across the room. Her hand dug down into the hospital gown in her crotch. A serious sigh of relief sounded as she dropped her chin to her chest. "Thank the stars."

Silk had no clue what was going on with her so he let her play it out. He continued to scan her for a few minutes while she felt all over her body. "Everything in place," he asked as he finished the scans and set the tricorder aside.

"Seems to be. I'm still me." Zenni smiled and got up, adjusting the gown so it didn't slip off her torso and expose her bare chest. Her but was in covered in Starfleet ladies boxer briefs. Her butt was exposed but it didn't bother her since it was at least covered. Her head went back and forth until she spotted what she was looking for. "Replicator." She went that way.

Silk followed behind her, his eyes remaining on the back of her head as she stopped and began giving the computer clothing orders. Her clothing orders, which were listed everywhere in Starfleet. The folded garments and boots appeared so she took them into the O.R. and began to strip down and change. Silk looked around the room and at the ceiling while they spoke. "I'm glad you're okay. Can't wait to get to know you, Zenni."

Zenni balanced perfectly on one foot while putting her socks on. She was athletic and played sports, did her cardio and lifted weights. She always took self defense courses when offered. She liked to stay in shape and have that tight, lithe frame to use it well. She had on a black sports bra and a matching pair of black boyshorts. She got her uniform on and then the boots, finishing off by blowing a hair out of her eyes as she finger-combed the strand back. "Well, I'm Zenni, a science officer and counselor. I took the medical courses for nurse and kept going into psychology."

"Nice, another set of hands around here would be appreciated." Said Silk.

"That's where I'm headed first. Find out where I'll fit in. On Hubble I was an assistant counselor who had a tertiary assignment in Sciences. But, now, maybe more into science. Not like I don't have years of memories to rely on."

"Kahn won't let you down. It never let Liza down. It's there every step of the way and Liza had reached a point of communing with it, which I am to understand is very rare."

"According to my memories, it is," said Kahn. "We've already nudged at each other." She tapped her tempal. "Anyway, off to the Bridge and my new fate. Care to escort a lowly ensign, Mister Silk?" She batted her lashes and gave a crooked grin.

Sean gave a luagh. "Yep, you'll fit in nicely around here. And yes, I'd be glad to get you to the Bridge."

The two of them set off on their adventure together.
