ON:

Zenni came out of her convulsions and her body went totally lax. With a moan she rolled onto her back and stared up at her shadowed ceiling, the pain in her head no diminishing fast. She knew all that had been given her could be recalled but she had no idea where to begin. But, feeling her body once again traumatized she reached inward and got it under control so the healing could begin. Then, a bunch of technical data came to her mind and she sat up as if never injured. Like an automaton she went to her replicator and punched in schematics with lightning quick taps on the keys. A bunch of disassembled technical parts appeared, which she put in a shoulder bag and the bag over her shoulder. Without hesitation she left her quaerters, headed down to the engineering labs and her tertiary lab to construct the final piece. The replicator in her quarters wasn't built for construction outright, so the strain would kill the unit. Arriving in her lab she entered and set her bag aside, getting the industrial replicator prepared for the final component, and the most important.

On the Bridge Green felt a tremor in the Core. She cocked her head a bit while in her chair, eyes glancing around as she reached out with Sense. The only other time she had ever felt another with Core energy was her old friend Jynxza. They were now mortal enemies so, feeling anything Core-like gave her pause. There it was gain. Secondary Hull, near to the Engineering spaces. She gave the FC officer the conn as she stood and departed the Bridge. In the lift she ordered it to the proper deck, even as she had to feel which one. Upon arriving she stepped out and walked with a casual yet determined gait.

After setting up the quantum accelerator Zenni punched in all her data so the computer could build from scratch using replicated material. Just as she began the process her lab door slid open and she stood up straight and looked over in surprise. She had forgot to lock the door. The replicator and accelerator were making a humming sound as they created her object, but it wasn't deafening as Commander Green came over and stood next to her, observing the process as she squinted her eyes when there were flashes in a crystalline structure. "Impressive." She then looked at the Trill. "Zenni, I think we need to talk."

"When this is done, we'll talk all you want."

Green reached out and casually placed a hand on Zenni's forearm. "Patience. Don't rush things it will only lead to chaos. I Sensed your sudden awakening and came to be a voice of understanding and instruction."

Zenni nodded as she watched the final moments of the process, the machinery halting and presenting a small green crystal that had a compression resistance that was almost unlimited. She reached out and scooped it up. "Look, I know you have weirdo abilities, and now I do. I know why but that is my business. I...we are fine. Matter of fact it was Kahn who started all this."

"Curious," said Ro. "You will need instruction, whether you join the Meji, or not."

"Meji," asked Zenni to which Green gave a brief explanation and description. "Well, if it menas learning how to control all this, then sign me up. A lifelong commitment I am quite familiar with." She patted her belly. Zenni had Green come with her as she went to a work bench and set the parts out for her own saber. Ro handed her a power core. "Where did you get that?" Asked Zenni.

Green grinned. "I have a spare saber. I grabbed it on the way down. As your strength grows with the Core you'll be able to manipulate objects and build without ever using your hands." Cosmo blurbed at her feet. "Yes, she is now one of us?"

Zenni had been nodding as she put on her work goggles and began the task of assembly the components into a useable hilt. Once it was finished she stood and stepped back, igniting her emerald green blade, the thrum of power steady and true. She closed it down and got a belt, hooking it to the item once buckled on.

"You have a great amount of trainign to look forward to, Zenni. First of which is learning how to use that blade in concert with the Core. A saber is no good without the mastery to use it." Instructed Green.

"Understood, Master." It was weird saying that but it came out naturally. "I won't use that title while with you on duty."

Green chuckled. "Good. Most would probably think we're into weird BDSM stuff."

"You aren't?" Asked Zenni with a giggle. "Sorry, a previous host had some rather--interesting tastes."

"The less I hear the more I thank you," laughed Green. "Okay, this is serious. I'll send you all I know and believe we should be as Meji. Study those and we'll also get together and discuss things in depth. But, I'll let you get back to it. Trust your feelings and using that blade will come naturally." Green walked out of the lab.

Zenni Kahn cast her gaze inwards, feeling that roiling energy called the Core. She focused on it, touched it and felt it throughout her being. It was quite comforting. And Kahn seemed to be reveling in it. Zenni left and locked her lab, then proceeded to just walk the ship and think on things.
