Time had passed between Murdoch Thirman's rescue and recovery. Having been rushed back from the planet from his mountain fall Thirmans fate hang in the air.

Between shift Thoros made his way down to sickbay to check on the progress of Thirman. Considering himself Qan'wI or protector.

Kristian had just checked on Thirman when Thoros entered sick bay. Dropping his chart into the pocket of her coat she walked over to where he was "I have him in a drug induced coma to help him heal. The rest is up to him."

" I feel responsible. He was just suppose to fly me down to that planet. I talked him into repelling." Thoros replied.

Kristian shook her head, "It's not your fault. He chose to go repelling. Don't blame yourself."

"I will not leave his side." Thoros promised.

"That's your choice but not necessary. When I'm not in here there are other doctors and I can activate the EMH. It's up to him when he wakes up. I've already sent the commodore a report. He's in good hands," Kristian assured him. "But let me ask you this. Is sitting here day and night and trying to do your duties on the ship the best for you? Your going to be exhausted"

Thoros considered the Doctors words. Despite his honor Klingons didn't allow for guilt. " You are right. I will resume my duties and check back on Thirman when I am off duty."

"When he wakes up I'll let you know,"Kristian said .

Thoros exited and then returned to his station on the bridge.
