Mission:
BUGS OH NO!!
Location: Amandora and West Wind
Timeline: Current
ON:
Kristian watched her cousin leave sick bay and made a notation that when they got back from leave both Tara and Alesha were due for their quarterly checkup’s. One that was done she headed for her quarters to change as there was no need for a change of clothes as anything she’d need would be at the Palace. Taking a seat at her computer Kirsitian sent a missive off to Cyndi that she’d be going to Amzock for a week maybe less. Once that was done she logged out of her computer and headed for her bedroom to change into a soft pink dress, that was off one shoulder, it was long and flowing with a slit in once side that went just below her hip, pulling her hair free of the restraints she brushed it and let it fall freely to her waist. Finishing off her look was pair of sandals. Pinning on her com-badge, grabbing her field medical kit even though she knew the West Wind would have everything she’d need, but it was habit.
After finding out where Alesha was Kristian headed for the fighter bay. Walking in a few minutes later Kristian noticed the canopy on Alesha’s fighter was open.
Alesha was doing some routine work on her fighter and some of it required getting under it, there were certain places that ladders didn’t work and to high for anyone to stand on something. The only way was to open the canopy and dangle over the side knees hooked in the open cockpit thus allowing her the way to do the minor things needed. Hanging upside down Alesha pulled a couple of tools out of her tool belt and set to work on the fighter. She was so into the work that she didn’t hear anyone walk over to the craft.
Kristian stifled a giggle as she watched Alesha work for several minutes. Just to see her hanging upside down while working was a sight and one she’d not let her forget too soon. “Are you sure your Amazon and not part monkey?”
Startled Alesha lost her footing or rather knee hold and fell to the deck hitting her head as she fell. Sitting up she glared at Kristian “You could have warned me,” she said rubbing her head
“It was worth the reaction,” Kristian said “Better make sure you didn’t hurt the deck plating with that hard head of you,”
Kristian walked over to check Alesha to make sure she was okay despite the humor in it “Tara called for a ride home, the West Wind is here and I’m going home for a few days to a week, Katrina contacted me to say that one of our doctors should be able to fix my ankle so it won’t bother me anymore. And she’s wondering if you want to go along, see your parents and brother.”
“Parents yes, Hienck, well, yeah I guess I miss him too,” Alesha said giggling “How soon before it pulls out?”
“Tara’s meeting with her new boss so we have a little bit,” Kristian said
Give me ten minutes to change and I’ll meet you at the air lock and we can go to the ship together,” Alesha said bolting from the fighter bay.
Kristian watched her go and laughed, the sight of Alesha hanging by her knees was a sight and she also forgotten to retract the steps to the fighter and set the alarm, walking over Kristian tapped the button causing the steps to disappear and knowing Alesha’s codes keyed it in and set the alarm on the fighter not that anyone but three people on the Amandora could read anything on it.

Ten minutes later Alesha met up with Kristian at the air lock, Alesha was dressed in a light green dress, standard attire for their home planet and headed off with Kristian to the West Wind. Walking to the air lock the two guards snapped to attention when they spotted Kristian and Alesha. Offering both of them nods they stepped aside to let the women pass and resumed their stance guarding the ship.
Once past the guards both women burst out laughing “Wait until Tara gets here,” Kristian said giggling
“They nearly fell over when we arrived and Tara’s far more important than we are,” Alesha said as they made their way to the Queen’s quarters, the door opened even before they rang the chime.
“Welcome aboard,” Rayna said hugging them both. “As soon as Tara gets here we’ll get underway,” she stepped back to allow them to enter her quarters
“Walking in “Tara is meeting her new boss she’ll be here as soon as she’s finished,” Kristian said
“That’s fine, her work is important and you dear niece are to rest that ankle, the doctors are ready once we get home,” Rayna said her tone brooking no argument “Or do I need to make it an order?”
“No Aunt Rayna,” Kristian said
“Good, I’m glad you see it my way,” Rayna said as they took seats and began to catch up
