Post Number 151 Getting Permisson and Starting To Explore

Cyndi watched as her shuttle broke through the clouds. Finding the village Cyndi angled the shuttle in that direction and landed just outside of the village. Shutting down the shuttle’s engines, Cyndi set the sensors to do run scans on the area. Looking at Paul, “Ready to do some exploring?”

“Always,” Paul said getting up and walking to the rear of the shuttle and dropping the ramp. The humid air met him the minute the ramp was down. “It’s a warm one Cyndi,”

“Good thing we’re dressed for it,” Cyndi said as she grabbed several items needed and followed Paul from the shuttle she paused long enough to set the alarms on it.

Tara had seen Cyndi’s shuttle land, sighing in relief she headed over to where the commodore and her husband were “Commodore, admiral I have a request,”

“What’s that?” Cyndi asked

“I’ve been here a few hours and have done extensive scans and you know my waterfall idea?” Tara asked as she handed Cyndi her PADD “There’s a large one about two miles from here and I’ve gained permission from the mayor to build the power source, I can have it ready in two to three weeks maybe sooner that is if you’ll give me permission to contact my home world and bring our engineers here to do most of the work.”

“Your waterfall is a sound idea and I’m fine with it, just as long as your engineers understand you’re a Starfleet officer and their princess,” Cyndi said “And yes you do have my permission.”

Paul took the PADD and read her proposal and nodded “I’ll help on it too,”

“Thank you sir,” Tara said “My people will stay on the ship when they’re not working on the waterfall. It will be twenty four shifts.”

“That won’t take that long then,” Paul commented “I like your plans lieutenant this is a sound idea you have.”

“I’m not sure I’m going to offer it anymore. The mayor here was not overly sure of it and even though I know it will work he did okay it,” Tara replied “I’ll contact Amzock and have the engineers here, it will take about six hours for them to arrive. So admiral work won’t begin until tomorrow.”

“You just let me know and I’ll help as much as I can,” Paul said

“I will and thank you both and yes commodore I’ll make sure they understand I’m Starfleet first and not to call me princess here not that I want them to anyway.” With that Tara hurried off for the shuttle she’d used when she came to the surface

“She’s good and her plans are sound Cyndi,” Paul commented

“They are and I hope she doesn’t give her idea up as it’s a good one, I'll talk to her about it.” Cyndi agreed “Let’s go explore.”
