Paul seeing the yellow alert lights begin to flash gave a whoop as he unlocked aux control and headed for ops. That meant Cyndi’s over ride codes worked not that he doubted as she was a flag officer. Base security were busy getting the insurgents rounded up. Finding the nearest lift he stepped in and gave the command to head to ops. A few minutes later the lift stopped and he stepped out and made his way to ops. Walking in Paul found Cyndi overseeing the clean up in ops.

Cyndi hearing the doors to ops open turned to see who had come up and smiled broadly when she saw Paul and walked over to where her husband was "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine but you look like crap," Paul commented "How bad are things?"

"I have Marcus Resch working on getting me a damage report, Herculoid and Money are out in fighters making sure no threat is to the station, one of my past officers Alona Tal who is with the Romulan Republic assisted in things aboard the station, Green and Dr.Shelya are out in a shuttle deflecting the larger pieces of the station away from the planet.," Cyndi said "I've sent out a distress call for help."

Paul shook his head "How the hell did this happen?"

"You tell me and we'll both know. My ship is gone and I have no idea where it is or who has it and why they took it, Hank has a lot of explaining and I'm not even sure he'll get to keep his command. He told me he's too old for this," Cyndi said as she accepted a PADD from a passing yeoman

"Where do you need me?" Paul asked

Cyndi looked over the report before turning to Resch "How are you doing on the damage reports? Paul has a background in engineering and can and will assist in any way possible. How badly were we hit when the Amandora fired on the station?' She looked at her Husband "I know I'm breaking regs Paul and I'll chance it, I've re-activated your access, you'll be able to get into things now and as I said if headquarters nails me for this I'll take the heat and deal with it."

Paul nodded as he walked over to where Resch was while the man worked on carrying out Cyndi's orders.
