James was on the Bridge finishing some things at the Science Station when he thought that he may as well see what the Commodore wanted to do about Lieutenant Kees' recent behavior.

James walked over to the Commodore's ready Room and palmed the chime, then waited for a response

"Come in!" Cyndi called

James walked into Cyndi's office then snapped to attention in front of her desk "If I could have a few minutes of you time Ma'am to discuss the whole Lt. Kees situation." he inquired.

"At ease lieutenant," Cyndi said "I was expecting you after reading Lieutenant Herculoid's report. I'm appalled over their behavior."

James sat looking at Cyndi "That makes three of us; Lt. Herculoid is of the same mind set that I am. Totally unacceptable behavior from two Lieutenants who should know better; we both agree that a demotion is in order as well as some extra duty. Of course that's your call Commodore. At the very least Lt. Kees will be loosing her position as Chair of her Department." James concluded.

"I've never encountered this in all my years so I turned to my husband who as you know is aboard and a retired rear admiral. He suggests write them both up which I did with Lieutenant Yova and have given him extra duty. While a demotion is in order, this is their first offense. I agree fully that she lose her department chair position and give her extra duty as well," Cyndi commented "I would like the lock on her office door disabled so this cannot happen again. I'm putting a perminate mark in both of their files. They'll have to work hard to earn my trust again, and I'm sure yours, how do you feel over this?"

James thought for a moment "Perhaps your right, demotion may be a bit harsh for a first offense; but Kees needs to know that she made a huge mistake and her actions are not becoming of a Starfleet officer in any way. I am willing however to concede to your good judgement Commodore" James replied.

"She does it again she will be demoted," Cyndi said "I'll let you tell her.

"Very well, I'll be sure to make myself perfectly clear when I explain what her punishment is and what's expected of her going forward as well as your recommendation" James replied.

"She better understand. This cannot happen again," Cyndi replied

James stood "I may as well have a chat with Kees next, this can't wait any longer. Commodore thank you for your time" he said, then turned to go back to his office.
