Paul looked to the communications officer "Hail the Amandora, Ohio and the Horizon. Bring Warrant Money in on this as well. Inform the rest of the personal I have here to report to the command center for a conference with the other ships."

"They've been hailed sir and the rest of the personal here have been alerted are on the way up," Communications reported

Tara was already on the bridge when the order came through, Kristian hearing the summons acknowledged it and headed to the bridge.

Cyndi hearing the call from Paul called Commander Green and Lieutenant Qa'Tok to join her on the bridge for a conference call with the Star Base, Ohio and the Horizon.

Onak acknowledged the summons and headed for the bridge. He had been going over the scan results from his perimeter model and was a bit concerned about some anomalous readings and he hoped to discuss them with her.

He entered the bridge to find the others waiting together. "Lt. Onak reported as ordered."

West got the summons from marine country. The men were restless, ready. He hoped there was a lead on the location of their people so that the marines could bring them home. He headed to the bridge.

On the Ohio, Commander O'Connell received the communication from the Rear Admiral. Tapping the screen at Comms "Commander O'Connell here standing bye" he stated hoping for some good news for a change.

Onak stepped to the tactical station. "May I?" he asked of the crewman on duty. "I would like to pull up some scan results for when an opportunity arises to discuss them."

"Be my guest." came the reply as the crewman stepped aside.

Onak pulled up the results, double checked them and then stepped aside, turning the station back over. "Thank you."

He stood to the side and waited. He hoped there was going to be some action now. It had been a while since he had tasted combat and he was itching for a fight.

"Paul," Cyndi greeted her husband "I've been relaying the information as it comes in to the Ohio and the Horizon. For those who haven't seen all the reports Lieutenant Herculoid along with Staff Warrant Barnes found a way to communicate with the ant beings. Barnes and Ainkara also found several children hiding in the lower decks on the base. They are now aboard the Amandora."

"Commodore, Captain West, Commander O'Connell and Commander Green the children checked out fine, they were cold but otherwise unharmed," Kristian spoke up. "They did tell us that the bugs as they called them don't like being cold."

"Captain West what have you found on the Horizon? Commander O'Connell please fill everyone in on what you've found on the Ohio?" Paul asked

West conveyed that he had found a device on the Horizon, made of a different technology than that of the ship itself. He had delivered it to Engineering, but had not heard back on what it was.

"There is one issue, Captain Rivers and Warrant Money were checking out the solar system and my scans revealed that Captain Rivers fighter is adrift, she's not on it," Tara said

Onak decided to risk breaking protocol and spoke up. "Sirs, I have been following some anomalous readings on our perimeter. Coupled with the fighter being adrift, I recommend we send a squadron to investigate as well as deploying a runabout patrol to perform further scans from the edge of our perimeter outward. I have checked and the station has sufficient number of runabouts."

He tapped some keys on the tactical station. "I have sent you all the relevant information from my scans and also provided you access to the probes as you may want to re-deploy them at your discretion. I also volunteer for the mission if needed, sirs."

Commander O'Connell spoke up "Sirs, after sifting through numerous Logs and Reports I have come to the conclusion that the Crew of the Ohio knew they were about to disembark from the Ship beforehand. After touring the Ohio, everything was as it should be....I found no food left out, all the beds were made, and all the doors were secured. Also all the escape Pods were accounted for as well as all the Ship's auxiliary Craft" he explained in detail then continued "As to why they abandoned Ship is still a mystery."

Sending in a squadron is out of the question, Captain Rivers is the wing commander and I'm not willing to risk more fighters out there until we know what's happened to her," Cyndi said

"Sirs, Tara spoke up "Antis led us to believe that only the crew and people of the base are being held on his planet. I'm hoping for a diplomatic solution of this. I am certified to pilot Captain Rivers fighter and once it's tractored here I can check it out and see if I can find anything."

"It's also possible we're dealing with another faction as well,"Cyndi commented "Lieutenant Qa'Tok please tell us what you've found on your scans. Herculoid I'll take your suggestion under advisement."

Onak was ready. "Sir, while most results reveal what we would expect to find, there are some readings that suggest a large object is moving around out there, its' movements not aligning what we would expect from a natural object."

He fed an image to the main view screen and directed everyone's' attention to it. "I have traced the route of the unknown object, indicated in red. Bear in mind that at this point I am not completely positive it is not a natural phenomenon but unlikely. As you can see here..." He highlighted an area where the adrift fighter had been before its pilot went missing "...the object was well within transporter range...of this object if is in fact, a ship."

Onak then overlaid a series of telemetry meters over the image and started playback from the beginning. "As you watch, pay close attention to the telemetry. You will see what appears to be some sort of possible transmissions. The number of transmissions spikes when the object comes into close range of the fighter. At this point, the object appears to retreat and achieve much farther distance than at any other time and basically remains stationary."

He left the image up while he made his recommendation. "We have two options from a tactical standpoint. We can either actively try to contact the object and investigate from a diplomatic point of view, or continue to surveil the object until we have more information. That is all"

Green had been standing quiet, letting everyone say their piece first. She was back to who she was meant to be, an Augment with a curious power known as the Core. She wore a combat vest variant overtop her mock-neck red shirt, some area more heavily armored than others. She had even completed it by having a phase pistol in a shoulder holster attached to her armor. "It could be something advanced, or a very specifically built probe meant to draw our attention," stated Green, her chin coming up and her face now as level as her attention. "Doctor Long, if these insectoids are talking, keep it that way. Ask them if we can have a show of good faith by beaming a group of our people to their nest to see the personnel ourselves; to know they are safe."

Kristian nodded "I'll ask him, he keeps going on about the awakening and keeping the larva safe. I will talk to him."

Tara had studied the scans from Onak "I do agree with Onak, there has to be a ship hidden out there. I want to take Al...Captain Rivers fighter back into the solar system and see what I can find."

Green blinked a couple of times. "Wait, I'm confused. I thought her fighter was still out there adrift, not aboard." She gave a pseudo-stunned look to her face and shook her head as if shaking off a blow to the cranium. "Anyone else have any fascinating or undisclosed information that may prove useful?" Her tone was both commanding and cynical.

Paul shot Tara a warning look before turning his attention back to the conference call. "Rivers fighter is still adrift. I told Money to tractor it back. Herculoid wants to check it out and pilot it back into the solar system to see what she can find."

"Good," said Ro. "A sound idea, with a some additions. I will take down the runabout Euphrates, we'll need her to get the fighter back here anyway, or at least Herc to the fighter. Nira has a soil sample from Dwight's abduction, so she can track it to where it came from down to several hundred yards, but we need to be on the turf for that. I am fully capable of performing all my regular duties for the next two months, being an Augment, and all. I like this plan, it's a good plan."

Cyndi nodded "I agree, Paul have Herculoid beamed back here so she can change into a flight suit. Captain West and Commander O'Connell secure your ships. I think since you've not found anything it's time for you to come home. Ro, I cannot stress enough to be careful, I don't want any harm to come to your of the babies your carrying. Captain West bring that device you found on the Horizon back to the Amandora, turn it over to science and engineering here, let my people go over it. Science I want full scans and find out where the crews of those three ships have gone, tactical see if you can get a better reading on that ship you believe you've found. According to what this Antis told Herculoid, Long, Barnes and Ainkara the crew of the star base are the only ones that are on his planet. Therefore we still have three ships with the crews unaccounted for and I need answers. Okay people you know what needs to be done. Keep the admiral and I posted. Doctor Long you'll go wit Barnes to the ant beings planet to check on the star base personal that he said are there."
