Cyndi wanting to give her senior staff an update about the new sector they were heading into. Tapping her com-badge "Will the following officers meet me in the conference room, Commanders Benjamin and Grace Parker, Lieutenants Herculoid, Sabbath, McKeon and Lieutenant Wright." Cyndi headed into the conference room to wait for her officers to arrive.

Grace had been in a training session with her security officers and handed it over to her assistant, heading to the conference room. She was pretty certain this was a briefing on the mission ahead of them. She had done some investigating of her own and was interested in what the others had come up with.

She entered the conference room with a bottle of water in her hand. Grace loved coffee but she was limiting her intake. Benjamin had accused her of being a little cranky this morning and suggested she go back to her regular amount. Grace smiled widely, she had a feeling he was right. She took a seat two seats from the captain, nodded in greeting and waited for the others to arrive.

Lt Sabbath had found Ensign Ch 'Thor to monitor the bridge science station so that he and Lt Tara Herculoid could attend this meeting.

Alister entered the conference room a cup of coffee in one hand and his PADD in the other as he slid into the seat he typically occupied during meetings, "Commodore," he said giving a nod of his head to Cyndi.

Tara downloaded some of the scan's she'd done, handed her station off to a junior officer, Picked up her PADD and headed into the conference room. Seeing Sabbath already there nodded to him as she took a seat next to her boss. "Commodore," Tara greeted. seeing the new security chief, "Commander welcome,"

"Thank you all for coming, as soon as our new XO, Commander Parker arrives I'll tell you all why I've called you here, Cyndi said "I'd like to formally introduce Lieutenant Commander Grace Parker who is our new chief of security," Cyndi said.

Sabbath nodded toward the new chief of security as his initial greeting. " Welcome to the Amandora Commander Parker."

Lieutenant Wright was down in the Cargo holds going over ship's stores when he heard the summons to the Conference Room. Dropping what he was doing William went to the nearest Lift "Computer Deck 1, Bridge" and was on his way. Exiting said Lift Will made his way to the meeting. Walking in he noticed most of the Senior Staff was already assembled so he gave a greeting to his peers as well as the Commodore before taking a seat close to the door.

"I want to first of all thank everyone for the quick response in getting the glitches with this new ship fixed. Well done everyone. As you all know we've been assigned to a new patrol sector where no other Federation ships have been. We'll be entering the new sector in a few hours. Does anyone have anything to report at this time?" Cyndi asked

"Commodore I did run some scans and there are countless planets and solar systems ahead. Too many to map out," Tara said.

Sabbath listened and couldn't help but pick up on the challenge of his peer as clearly Stellar Cartography was already on the job doing just that.

"That's why you're paid the big bucks." Benjamin said in a teasing voice. If anything this should be a dream first stellar photographer, he talked to himself. "We need an accurate assessment of the system." Benjamin suggested with a tone of sincerity.

Sabbath listened to their exchange reasoning that Latinum serves as the primary currency in the Federation. Encased in gold and used by various species including the Ferengi. Starfleet officers are compensated through non-monetary means, driven by the pursuit of knowledge, discovery, and betterment of humanity instead.

Tara glanced at Sabbath briefly then back to the meeting, "I for one am looking forward to seeing what lies ahead,"

"As am I lieutenant," Cyndi said "Besides science has anyone else gotten any readings or scans from the system ahead?"

Emma sat and listened taking notes as they spoke. “I have been doing scans as we approach, nothing out of the ordinary so far.”

"Still waiting to hear back if Intel has picked up anything from one of the other powers about what we could be heading into," Alister said from his seat as he sipped his coffee, "Looks to be pretty quiet from Intel's point of view."

William sat listening to the conversations for information purposes only since his primary focus was on the Ship and Crew; not really anything to do with whatever was outside of the Ship.

Not getting any further responses "Thank you al for coming, we'll be arriving at the first planet soon. Run a full sensor sweep on it, report your findings to myself and Commander Parker. Your all dismissed," Cyndi said "Remember we are the first Federation ship to enter this system,"
