Cyndi had programed Holo Deck One for a beach complete with warm tropical water, white sandy beach, Palm Trees swaying in a gentle breeze, various song birds chirping. Several yards away were around ten huts of various sizes with thatched roofs on them and beyond that a forest. Picnic tables were lined up away from the water with food, burgers on the grill, corn on the cob, macaroni and potato salad, various kinds of chips and dips. Watermelon and other goodies. Cyndi had chosen not to wear her uniform for this and had dressed in a swimsuit, a sarong was tied around her slender waist.

Paul entered the holo deck a few minutes later and smiled when he saw what Cyndi had decided to do.

Tapping her com-badge "Attention all hands this is the commodore, come to a picnic in holo deck one, no need for uniforms this is a picnic and I have plenty of food. Come join my husband and I for a picnic."

Ellie smiled as she heard the announcement, finally she’d have some time to spend with Yova. Heading to her quarters she decided to choose a bikini one she was certain Yova would love.

T’Mia was just finished her latest Counseling session, she was glad for a chance to meet people on a social level rather than a professional one.

Jay couldn't wait to enjoy his passion of being a bar tender. Like a minister or counselor sometimes people talked to their bartender.

Tara met up with Alesha and Kristian just outside the holo deck, all three were in bikini's, "Look at you two,"

"Back at you," Alesha said giving Tara a playful punch to her arm as they entered the holo deck.

"I know this is a holo deck but man does it smell just like the ocean," Kristian commented as they kicked off their sandals and walked onto the beach

James and Heather McTavish arrived shortly after the three bikini clad ladies. James, not to keen on showing a lot of skin around others, went with a more modest look. A pair of mid thigh trunks with a fish net tank top and sandals.

Heather on the other hand was a little more adventurous with a hot pink bikini with a black sarong wrapped around her waist and sandals.

As they walked in James whispered "My dear you look absolutely delicious in that bikini." Heather smiled while noticing the other ladies "You just make sure you keep your eyeballs in their sockets Mr. McTavish" she replied with a giggle.

Jay then rushed behind the tiki bar. Turned on some muzak and prepared to make drinks for the guests. Remembering a covert assignment on Risa Jay moved his jamarahan statue in plane sight just in case any ladies needed some loving.

"I think we all need this," Tara commented "Thank you commodore for planning this."

"Your welcome," Cyndi said as Kristian walked over with a tray containing three drinks in half of a coconut.

"Commander Bird makes wonderful Pina Colodas," Kristian said handing one to Tara and Alesha

Paul walked over his hair damp from the water "The water is so warm and inviting. Who's hungry? There is enough food over there."

As they walked onto the sandy beach, Heather removed her sandals to feel the sand in between her toes when James asked "What would you like to drink." "Anything tropical, surprise me" Heather replied "While your getting the drinks I'm going over and say hi to Tara and the girls." James went off to the bar to have Jay make two Pina Coladas.

Heather walked over to the girls "Hi Tara, Alesha, and you must be Kristian Long; I don't believe we've met yet, I'm Heather McTavish" she said "And don't you all look cute in your bikinis" while thinking "Oh James is going to love this."

"Hi Heather," Tara greeted

"Good to see you, this was a good idea the commander had," Alesha said

"Guilty as charged, I'm Kristian Long. We don't get a chance to wear our bikini's that often, it's nice for a change. I'm the ACMO."

"It's very nice to meet you Kristian; and wouldn't Star Fleet Brass be surprised if this was our uniform for the next inspection" Heather said with a giggle.

"And she's my cousin," Tara said "Alesha is a family friend,"

James returned with their drinks and handed one to Heather "Ladies....don't you all look very beachy" James commented with a smile.

"Thank you," Kristian said "We all three love to swim, something we've not done in a bit."

Tara gave her cousin and Alesha a grin "So you want to race?"

"After we eat," Alesha said I'm hungry and those burgers look and smell good. Would the two of you care to join us?"

Heather looked at her husband then smiled at the ladies "Thank you, we would love to join you" she replied.

So the four ladies and James, and he was all smiles at the odds, made their way over to the food area and each filled a plate with food then found an empty table to sit at to enjoy a meal together.

"The commodore had a good idea," Alesha commented as she put ketchup on her burger and fries. Looking at Heather and James "It's good to finally have a chance to mingle with everyone.

Jay watched as they all enjoyed themselves remembering a time when Misty had once loved him. His ways and career had driven her away and now he had to live with the choice.

T’Mia walked into the holodeck feeling a little self conscious in the swimsuit she’d chosen to wear. It would have been rude not to come to the gathering but being alone wasn’t much fun either.

Following in shortly afterwards Ellie entered the holodeck hoping to find Yova there as well.

Jay smiled and nodded for T'Mia to come over to the tiki bar.

T’Mia offered a smile as she approached the bar. “Bartender this evening Commander?”

" Oh I just do the Commander stuff on the side. What's your pretend poison Counselor?" Jay asked.

T’Mia shrugged her shoulders. “Surprise me Commander, but be warned if you get me tipsy you’re taking me home!” she grinned a wry grin.

" I'll make you a Sazarac then we can start the walk to your quarters." Jay replied. He then retired his jamarahan back into its case.

Paul walked over to the Tiki Bar just in time to see the commander put away his statue. "Have you closed already? I was just going to ask for a drinks for Cyndi and I. Counselor it's good to see you again."

" We don't close until midnight sir " Jay replied

"It's just Paul. No need for ranks in here especially since no one is in uniform."

Cyndi walked over to where her husband was and placed her arm around his waist "Commander how about a Long Island Ice Tea."

"Make mine a beer," Paul said putting his arm around her shoulders;

In a frosted mug Jay handed the Admiral his beer. He the had Lt Yova take the bar as he had a dance partner waiting.

Taking the frosted mug of beer Paul thanked him and took Cyndi by the hand "Let's get a bite to eat as well,"

" Counselor do you want to dance with an old dog soldier?" Jay asked T'Mia.

T’Mia smiled warmly. “I would love to James. Do you mind me calling you James?”

His full name was James Bird but his nickname was Jay.

" Sure but if you want to finish this dance call me Bird." Jay replied

Cyndi watched as her XO and the councilor walked off and began to dance on the beach. Walking over to the grill they filled plates and found a shady spot and sat down to begin to eat. "The crew seems to be enjoying themselves."

"That they do and I've even seen a few head into those huts," Paul grinned eating a french fry.

Tore entered the holo-beach program, having walked the corridors in his royal blue Bermuda shorts and a white cotton tank top. His feet were bare. The Reyban sunglasses he wore had been put on right before he walked into the sensor for the archway. Seeing Commodore Song and the Admiral sitting at a picnic area under some shade palms he began to trek over. The others seemed to have scattered.

"Doctor," Cyndi greeted "Please join us, I don't believe you've met my husband, Paul,"

Entering after a long day was Lt Odac Yova who hoped that Ellie Kees was there.

Ellie was indeed there, as soon as she saw Yova appear through the doors she made her way across to meet him. “Yova!” She smiled warmly. “It’s so good to see you.”

" I have bar duty. What can I get you to drink Ellie?" Odac smiled.
