Post Number 24 Seeing The New Ship

Mission: Shakedown II
Location: Dock 47B on Star Base Danvers

ON

Cyndi watched as her officers and crew began to assemble at the docking ring. The Amandora was on her way, To say she was excited was an understatement. A Vesta Class and a brand new ship was being brought out.

Science Officer Sabbath had been awake early as he had been assisting with a pet project via long distance channels. A hard decision was ahead if him as the chance of a life time had presented itself along side his current assignment as the Amandora's Chief of Science.

Joining the others he waited.

Alister walked out of a lift a PADD in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. He gave a nod to Cyndi before leaning against the railing as he waited for the new Amandora to arrive.

Kalina was heading to the airlock with David. She was holding his hand in the whole entire time, but she drew closer she let his hand go. She did not want to be accused of fraternization. She still remained by his side. The two were practically attached at the hip.

Tara, Kristian and Alesha, who was holding her daughter by the hand, walked to the air lock, several of the officers had already arrived.


David walked down the corridor with Kalina, anxious to see the new ship. He hoped that Starfleet had done well by them.

An announcement from the docking commander that the Amandora was on final approach.

Minutes later the Vesta Class Star Ship pulled in and docked. Several gasps could be heard as the ship pulled in.

A captain stepped off once the docking was complete and walked over to where the crew stood. "Commodore Song I'm captain Fields, my skeleton crew has brought your ship to you," he said offering his hand.

Cyndi smiled and shook his had, "Captain thank you, your relieved."

"I stand relieved commodore," Fields replied "You've got a hell of a new ship there sir."

Cyndi turned to her assembled officers and crew "Our new ride is here. Let's go aboard, everyone find your quarters, once settled check in with your departments."

OFF:

Okay she's here, everyone post boarding, finding your quarters and reactions to the Vesta Class.
