Mission:
Repairs, Upgrades And Shore Leave
Location: Outside Sickbay, Various
Timeline: Current
On
After His Wife had had fallen asleep, Hurd left Sickbay, intent on going back to his office and doing paperwork until she woke up. But he no sooner had gotten out the doors then all hell broke loose. Both guards he had posted were down, crumpled into bloody heaps on the deck.
Hurd Hit his his Combadge as he moved to check the first man and said, "This is Major Hurd to the Bridge, Security, And Marines, I've got two, repeat two KIA outside sickbay, wounds are indicative of knives and disruptors, the level of violence is severe, I need help here now!!!".
Having heard the call, and being in the labs in Sickbay, Tore spun and grabbed a medpack, heading for the door at a trot. Stepping out he saw Hurd and the two injured. "Hold your mud, Major. We're here." Reaching into a small side pocket on the medpack Bjorgo pulled out two brass badges and placed them on the bodies. "Site to site transport, Sickbay, each on a biobed in a stasis field. Now!" The bodies shimmered away.
Liza came tearing around the bend, phaser held low, her lower half still in full uniform, but she had thrown on her tunic over her black sports bra. She turned and stopped, looking at her three person team. "Fan out and cordon off this area for twenty meters in every direction. No one in or out without my permission. Move." Her people dispersed as she approached the two men, seeing Bjorgo gently place a hand on Hurd's shoulder. "What the hell happened?" she asked from behind them.
Shaking with fear and rage, Hurd replied silently, "The two Marines I had guarding Sickbay were slaughtered, never had time to defend themselves, or even draw their sidearms". Rising to his feet and turning to face Liza, his face contorted in a mask of agony, rage, fear, and hatred, he continued, " This has all the hallmarks of a Secretion 31 Hitman, and if they are here, those men are dead because of me, and everyone else is in danger because of me as well".
Cyndi and Paul' Quarters:
Jay was still in the Admirals room when the alarm sounded.
" Something is not right sir. We will bolt this door." the XO said as his fears had come true. They had come for the Admiral.
"Like HELL," Paul said opening a nearby drawer and removing Cyndi's back up phaser, setting it for wide beam "I told you I'm not sitting on my ass. Let's go!"
Elsewhere:
T’Mia was just packing for shoreleave when the alarm sounded, it seemed there was no rest for the wicked, as the saying went! She headed out of her quarters grabbing her phaser on the way, she was going to find out what was going on.
Bridge
Cyndi hearing the alarms and reports of intruders "Who and how did anyone get on my ship! Retract docking ring, back us out away from the station!"
Paul rushed onto the bridge "What the hell happened Cyndi?"
"I wish I knew," You take the bridge I'm going to find out what is going on. Retired or not you have the bridge, get us away from the station," Cyndi said "You know my command codes, take care of my ship!" with that she ran and secured the bridge on her way out.

Bjorgo stepped back into Sickbay, looking across the room at the staff around the two biobeds. Their eyes told him all he needed to know. Going into his office and opening his safe Tore took up his equipment belt and strapped it around his waist then stepped back out into the corridor. "I'm not sitting this one out."
"Fine," responded Liza, speaking to all of them from Tore's last statement. "Sickbay, Engineering and the Bridge will have fully armed Security teams at all entrances and crawlspaces. You don't identify you will be put down. I'll see to it." Turning away from the others Kahn tapped her badge and began to issue orders.
Pulling his .45 and racking the slide, Hurd hit his combadge and said, "This is Major Hurd to all Marine Forces, two of our Brothers have been killed by a Section 31 Agent, who is presumably still aboard the ship." The raw rage filling his voice hr continued, "All Marines, mobilize, fan out and nutrtilize the Agent, I repeat, this is a kill mission, he is NOT to be captured alive, remember, this is for our fallen Brother's, SEMPER FI MARINES, Hurd out". Closing the channel, he said to no one in particular, " Today is a good day to die".
Sean Silk came jogging from down a corridor, seeing the blood clot of people just outside of Sickbay. He was wearing a MACo fatigue uniform, still authorized by Starfleet for Marines serving in a more Starfleet manner. Doctor Bjorgo had promised him a slot in his Sickbay so Silk had dressed accordingly, including a full equipment belt. As he glanced around at the others he gave Hurd a nod, but then he spoke to Tore first. "Where do you need me, Doctor?"
"You're deputized as my wingman, Lieutenant Silk."
"Aye, Sir." Silk looked to the others once more.
When T’Mia arrived outside Sickbay she could see the signs of what had happened. She could also sense a lot of anger and emotion. “If you’re searching for someone I can be of help.”
Nodding back at Silk, Hurd turned and listed to the alarming common chatter coming through his ear piece. Turning to everyone assembled, his eyes as dark as night, he said, "We are getting reports of multiple boarding parties and phaser fire on multiple decks". " I don't know how that asshole 31 Agent did this, but I refuse to let them take the Amadora." Looking to two Marines near the sickbay doors, Hurd roared, "Jones, Wilson, on me, we are heading to deck 2, section 22 baker". As one unit, Hurd and his men started running, heading into the fight.
“Major...wait!” T’Mia ran to catch up. “I’m going with you. I’m not a marine but I can handle myself in a fight.”
Cyndi rounded the corner phaser in hand just in time to hear T'Mia's comment "I'm sorry lieutenant but as you said your not a marine and while I don't doubt you can fight your not trained for this.
Hurd and his men halted when the Commodore's voice. "She's right Lieutenant, you are needed here, and are not trained in Combat as we are." Addressing the Commodore, Hurd said, "Ma'am, I am getting reports of multiple boarding parties and phaser fire on multiple decks, and there are at least 65 Enemy Combatants heading to the Bridge, intent in seizing it." "If my Intel is right, we have at least 175 enemy personnel aboard." His eyes turning Blood Red, Hurd continued, "I don't know how that asshole from 31 did it, but they are intent on seizing the ship, and I WILL NOT allow that to happen".
"I've ordered us backed away from the base, shields are up so how anyone is getting on is a good question. I also when this is over want to find out how anyone got on as I had guards posted at the air locks. Repair crews had not yet come aboard. As for the bridge Admiral Sanderson is up there and the bridge is locked and secure. He knows what he's doing. Where do you need Rivers, Herculoid and Doctor Long and me. The three Amazons are well trained warriors and Rivers is a good marine too," Cyndi asked.
T’Mia looked at those around her. “This was obviously well planned, they knew to hit us once we had most of the crew off ship.”
The vehemence in Liza's voice was not veiled. "If this shit is at all connected to you, Major, and you expected some kind of attack and didn't inform command, I will end your career this very day. People are in danger and you seem to know an awful lot about it. Other than that, there are teams of tactical officers headed for the various battles, to try and bottleneck spaces." With another steely gaze into Hurd's eyes she spun about and stormed away with two of her people.
Silk leaned in closer to Bjorgo, who did the same in return. "I like her." Admitted Sean.
"Once you meet her you're in for a treat," was all Tore gave in return, going back to standing guard over his own Sickbay. It was the most hardened area of the ship, and with various lockouts no one could enter once in lockdown. Every conceivable way of getting in had been considered and defeated. The Starfleet way.
"This will be sorted out once we get the intruders caught," Cyndi said turning to the major. "Where do you want Lieutenants Herculoid, Rivers and Doctor Long? All three are ready for what is needed that goes for you to Lieutenant Kahn. Those three Amazons are not afraid to fight and neither am I."
In the meantime, while all this was going on, James and Heather McTavish we told to stay put on the Station until this situation was rectified. This may have been their lucky day missing all the action; of course it depended how you looked at it.
Back outside Sickbay T’Mia was feeling something of a spare wheel, unnecessary until something drastic went wrong. Vulcan logic told her to get out of everyone’s way, with that in mind she headed for her office.
Marine Barracks:
Greg stood in the middle of the barracks directing squads to assemble and move out as unit rather then small penny packet units. “I want one full platoon to start on deck one and sweep down, another start at the bottom and sweep up. Weapons platoon divided between bridge, and engineering, reinforce the security officers at those locations. Rest of you move out and reinforce the tactical teams. Nothing less then fireteam strength, I’m not loosing Marines to penny packet deployments. Also we need people alive for answers.”
Intel Office:
Alister paused as he listened to the chatter on his comm, “Well isn’t this just wonderful,” he said to no one in particular. He moved out of his personal office pausing to grab a phaser rifle from behind a false wall panel. “Alright ladies and gentlemen lock down everything you’re working on. Operations team draw gear and move out to hold this corridor, set for stun I want them alive, lot harder to get information out of a dead man.”
***Outside Sickbay
Bjorgo had an idea pop into his head. "Wait, I got this. Using internal sensors I can activate the sound of every heart beating on this ship. Every single one. By deleting all those supposed to be here, then guests, that would leave any outsider heartbeat. We can then pinpoint and eliminate."
Kristian nodded "That or the commodore can gas the ship minus the bridge. We'll all be affected though."
"Then that's out", Major Hurd said, " But the heartbeat idea, that I do like though". Looking at those around him, his eyes burning with the fires of hell, he added, "The Commodore asked where I wanted certain of you, and I will say this, on me". " But know, these people who have invaded our home are not taking prisoners, so if you choose to go into the fight as part of my team, I would highly, highly suggest you don't either if you take my meaning for it". Venom in his voice, he added, "And one other thing, when we catch up the head asshole Agent who did this, he is mine, I want that very plainly understood".
"Major," Alesha spoke up "I'm not afraid to fight. I'll defend this ship and everyone on it, with my life if need be."
"Likewise," Tara said "We're wasting time here debating all of this while those thugs are who knows where on this ship and what they're doing. I've been in fights before and I know how to handle myself, Alesha's mother saw to that years ago."
Kristian nodded "She's right, I've had the same training. I'm a doctor sworn to protect lives but i can and will kill if I have to."
"Doctor Bjorgo how long will it take to sort this out so those who invaded my ship can be dealt with?" Cyndi asked.
Bjorgo answered his CO with a calm, professional tone. "Give or take, about five minutes to weed it down." He kept silent on his feelings for Hurd's want of revenge. 'They are mine'! ~This is Starfleet, not the fucking Klingon Empire~ he thought to himself, but understood why David wanted it. This new Terran behavior was always so conflicting.
"Silk, sentinel mode." Tore said, then stepped into Sickbay.
Silk Had his thumbs hooked in his belt. "You got it, Sir." He nodded at everyone then followed his department head.
Just as Bjorgo had spun about to enter Sickbay an Eldritch portal opened in front of him, showing Nira standing in some other place before them. Seeing Tore she stepped in and grabbed his wrist with an iron grip. "Come, we need to fight!" With all her strength she pulled him within.
Tore looked back over his shoulder as the portal closed. "Long, follow the heartbeat idea. You're acting chief..." He was gone and the portal closed.
Silk stood there as stunned as everyone else. "Did that just happen?"
"I think it did," Kristian said "I'll separate out our people, guests and station personal. That will tell me who is not supposed to be here."
"Since we don't know how may intruders there are wide beam
and transport them directly to the brig, level ten force fields," Cyndi ordered
"Understood sir," Kristian said moving over to a console and began to separate the heartbeats of everyone who had permission to be on the ship and those who were supposed to be there. The entire process took only few minutes. There could be heard about thirty heartbeats that were unaccounted for. "Transporting to the brig now commodore," Several minutes later the thirty heartbeats could be heard in the same area.
"Did you get them all?" Cyndi asked
"Yes, all accounted for," Kristian said
"Gas the brig they can all be contained and put into cells," Cyndi ordered
"Done," Kristian said "They'll wake up with headaches."
Since Kahn had been down the corridor and away from Sickbay, she got a call telling her that all invaders had been beamed directly to the brig. "Excellent. Once they're out cold you will strip them to their knickers, then provide crewman coveralls and socks. Nothing else. Also, keep them apart. No more than two per cell. Kahn, out." She double-tapped her comm badge. "Kahn to Commodore Song. Prisoners are in the cells and being seen to. By regulations please have a medical team provided that can scan them and determine any injuries, or biological dangers to the crew. I'll be in Security, Sir. Kahn, out." She closed the transmission and headed for her department.
Cyndi tapped her com-badge "Good job lieutenant, locate any bodies and have them beamed to the morgue. I want answers, lieutenant when this is sorted out I want you and the major to meet with me in my ready room," tapping her com-badge "Paul we've got things under control, return us to the star base but do not dock. We're cleaning up down here, is the bridge secure?"
"All secure Cyndi," Paul responded "They didn't get this far."
Hurd grunted, and turned to the Commodore, and said, "Ma'am, I swear to you that I'm going to rip my Marines asses, this should have never happened."
"No major it shouldn't have happened, but ripping into the marines may or may not be the answer. I had guards posted at the air locks, the repair crews had not yet boarded. It could be a security issue or a marine issue. That needs to be cleared up," Cyndi said
After hearing her reply and responding, Hurd hit his Com-Badge and said, acid In his tone, " Major Hurd to Security, do you have the Head Agent in Custody?" "If you do, I'd like to have a word with him", Hurd finished, a deadly smile across his face.
Kahn had just seen to the last pair of prisoners put in their cells wearing coveralls and socks, and their underthings. When Hurd's query came over the speakers she answered back while tapping on her Security PADD to log the prisoners in. "Kahn here. I'm sure we do, Major. However, I am not in the know as to which one that is so yes, you may come down and identify that one for me. You will disarm within my Security department or, we forego your request."
"You can talk to the head agent But you'll not be alone with him, is that clear?" Cyndi asked her tone brooking no argument.
Hurd replied, with a slight edge in his voice, his eyes black as night, "Understood Commodore, I suggest Kahn and I interrogate the prisoner, we will get the truth out of him".
"I have no doubt you will, but I do not condone prisoners being harmed. As Lieutenant Kahn said You will disarm while in the Security department, major. That is not open for discussion," Cyndi said firmly
"Understood Commodore", The Major replied. " I'll turn in my weapons to the guards on duty, is that all?
"Yes and when you and Lieutenant Kahn your both to report to my ready room," Cyndi said "I'm going to want a full report."
